Ugh speaking of parking, my sister's boyfriend needs to learn how to park. He'll park outside our house, facing the wrong way (both illegal and annoying), be several centimetres from the edge of where the curb meets the road (so the car's pretty much sitting in the middle of the road), and sometimes partly blocking the driveway, so I can't get in after I come home from work late at night.

Grrrr.
But now he's started parking the car on the other side of the street in front of someone else's house. That would bother me if I lived there, because I wouldn't want someone's car encroaching my property...that's just me though.

Also, he leaves the toilet seat up when he's here..... fine if he were at home, but not at his girlfriend's house where the male to female ratio is 1:3! (1 my dad, 3 me, sister and mum)

First, tell your sisters boyfriend to park in the driveway, if you have one.

Second, give your dad the benefit of the doubt he's a guy, and guys do these things.

First, then I would have to move my car after when I park it behind his, or leave it on the road. Either way, its a hassle.

Second, we have 2 bathrooms. Dad doesn't use the one down the end of the house where the girl's bedrooms are. So it ain't him!

Ow.
Injured again. Not severe, but it hurts.
I was tossing a frisbee around with my friend at church, and it was dark, and I didn't see the gigantic dip in the ground. So, of course, I step right into the dip, and twist my ankle. But I toughed it out. I still ran and got the frisbee, and threw it back, so I uess you could say that I'm okay.
So, my pet-peeve is being blind and tripping.
Ow.

New pet peeve: Being woken up at 8am and called in to work. But my shift doesn't start until 12:45, and I really could use the extra hours, so I guess I shouldn't complain.

Okay, then - people whose car alarms go off at 4am and they don't do anything about it. Grr.

It's not car alarms for me, but my stupid neighbors who argue at that time. I'll hear all sorts of yelling, followed by their dog barking non-stop......yarr......

A pet peeve of mine is when people don't use the correct terms (or even use the wrong terms on purpose) to describe certain things not because they don't know the right words, but because they don't want to sound like a geek. My ex-girlfriend did this all the time (which was odd because she was otherwise very unselfconscious) and it drove me nuts. A lot of times she would stop in the middle of the sentence and seemingly wait for me to fill in the "geeky" part for her (after 5 years we were way past the finishing-eachothers'-sentences epoch), but eventually I started making her say it when I knew she knew the right words.

I can't really think of a good example of this behavior, but I hope somebody else has experienced it. Drives me nut.

I haven't experienced that exactly (but it would get on my nerves too). But I did have a "friend" (I use quotes because she really wasn't a good one) who if I showed the slightest bit of intelligence and it threatened her (ie - men began paying attention to the smart, natural blonde, as opposed to her) she'd just resort to insults like "Well, at least I'm not a NERD/GEEK/(other rude word for smart person)!" I hated that.

I hate when there are prickly things in the grass.
I "dove" (okay, so I fell) for a ball hit into the outfield yesterday, and I fell on a bunch of prickly crap. I got up and pulled them all out of my leg, and now, as I sit here, portions of my leg are still bright red from where these stupid thing were. UGH. And it hurts, too. UGH.

You knew someone would ask this, Dormar; Have you developed any superpowers after the spider bit you?

Any wall-climbing abilities? Dorm-Senses tingling, that kind of thing?

Hair with the power to fling you from building to building?

In regards to that, no to all but the last one.

When that spider got me, he bit me right on the same spot where i waas starting to get a rash from poison ivy. So trust me on this one, it did not help at all. I was quite the sick boy...and according to my doctor, if I get poison ivy once more (I've had it three times in three years, all in a row) it could possibly be really, really bad. Not quite fatal, but really bad......yarr.......

ugh...
I hate ripping pants.
I just got some shorts like a week ago, and I really like them. So, today, I'm playing volleyball in the new shorts, and I duck, because the person behind me was going for the ball, and I ripped them. I was so mad. They were nice shorts.

A forum-related pet peeve: When people post more than once in a row because they don't know about the magic edit button. I know it's not their fault, but it's still reallly annoying.

Another new pet peeve I will rant and rave about: animals that get into my garbage can.

As you might know, I had al my cousins at my house over the weekend. I had a total of twentie people in the house. Twentie people make a lot of garbage. So on the night before garbage day, I takes the garbage can out and puts it on the curb. The wind blows it over during the night, and then our neighbors dogs get into the rotting meat, onion peels and oozing cucumbers. The next morning, I have to wake up really early and clean it up because our garbage truck comes at seven in the morning. And it was during a windstorm. So my highlight of the day was running around getting rotting food and soggy paper plates that were blowing all over the street. It's enough to make me rip my hair out in a bloody messy rage.

Sorry, just I think I shouldn't really pull at Moms apron strings and ask for her to donate to the wiki.

I'm not saying you have to donate. If you don't have the means or if you have some weird qualms with donating, then you shouldn't. Just don't let me hear you complaining when it goes down.

Speaking of donations, what would be considered a normal amount to donate? 10$? Maybe 50$?

Donate whatever you feel comfortable with. Every cent is appreciated. Either of those amounts would be more than welcome.

If you want to know what others have donated (and how it's getting spent), check out the Ledger. There are a few big numbers there, but don't feel pressured into donating more than you feel comfortable with.

And just so we're clear, we appreciate all of our users whether they donate money or not. You folks make the Wiki what it is with your contribs and make the forums fun with your funny, interesting, and entertaining posts. So you get our thanks no matter what.

Peeve: I am a fan of the German band Rammstein. I would like to see them in concert, but the problem they don't tour the US.
