Ooh, my pet peeve is those awful magnetic ribbons people stick on their cars. I want to scream every time I see a Hummer with a "Support Our Troops" ribbon on it I think of this and it makes me sad. It makes me want to buy one of these. |

Jay "Rock Paper Saddam" Barnes.. He rules. You ever download any of his "provoke the listener" clips? I recomnend the "Blinded by the Light" show. One of my pet peeves involves driving. I can't stand when someone is going like 20 mph under the speed limit, so someone decides to pass them, and they decide that going 15 under the speed limit is the best way to do it, so you end up with two people going REALLY slow in both lanes, and you get a huge line of cars behind them. It happens with coal trucks all the time here, except, instead of 15 or 20 under the speed limit, they're so overloaded that they are lucky to do 15 or 20 going up the hills.... IN BOTH FREAKIN LANES WHEN I'M LATE TO WORK! GET OUT OF THE WAY!!!!!!!!! ... ok, I'm back. |

Supporting your troops is like loving your mom, you do it no matter what. Just because you don't want to go to war doesn't mean that you don't support our troops, in fact, it means that you support our troops more because you want to keep them safe at home. Ever see one of those "I support our troops. I question our policies." bumper stickers? |

Oooooh, politics. Back on topic: Another thing I really hate is bug guts. Like this one time, there was a caterpillar on the ground and my friend dropped a basketball on it. The guts squirted all over my leg. I'm grimacing as I type this. The guts were warm, and I totally freaked out. So I hate dem bug guts with a passion. Live bugs? Cool. I pick 'em up. I let 'em crawl on me. Dead, and especially squished bugs? They actually give me fits just to look at them. I clench my teeth and squint my eyes and lose control of my hands. I make a noise that cannot be reproduced by the printed word. And I think: Blasphemy! |

I had a cool glowy dot on my windshield all the way home. Another pet peeve: The way McDonalds asks if I want to supersize (or Wendy's asks if I want to Biggie Size, or Burger King asks if I want to...). If I wanted to supersize the meal, I would ask for it. I promise.. |

It's all part of the fast food conspiracy to make all Americans die of heart attacks. Or be too lazy to move when the Russians invade us. Super-size THIS, ya pinko commies! Little known fact: Ronald McDonald doesn't have a red afro. That's a red fur hat, just like they wear in his Motherland. |

Peeve: I hate those people who have those bumper stckers that say "My child is an Honor student at {Insert random school}" I don't care if your kid is an honor student, and I don't think the rest of us on the freeway care either. |

I want to get one that says, "So what, your kid is an honor student. I was, too. Look where it got me." The only thing worse than that is "My kid beat up your honor student" How pathetic is that? "My kid is dumb as a brick, but he can beat people up".. Ok, so, actually, there is something worse than that.. "Baby on Board"... So what? Why should I drive any more careful just because you have a stupid sign in your window? If your kid is actually so important, why don't you hang up and actually pay attention to the road?!?!? |

Once, I saw a sign on someone's car that said, "Prize Showdogs -- Do Not Tailgate." It made me angry. I don't care about your showdogs. Dogs are nice, but that's ridiculous. Or ridonkulous. |

I got another one. I hate it when people don't wash their hands. Like, I'll be in a public bathroom, washing my hands, and someone will just walk by and not even look at the sink. Then they go put their pee-pee hands all over the door handle. Blasphemy! |

What's worse is when you look at their name tag and realize that they fixed your burger... |

My sister hates the foldy ribbons too. They just really annoy the crap out of her. She says it's an unoriginal idea and there are better ways to express your cause. The ribbons aren't even folded in real life. |

It's funny when you see a car with a yellow ribbon, pink ribbon, blue ribbon, and God knows what other colors. I once saw a car with 10 different colored ribbons. I have no clue what half of the colors meant. It's funny how people can get all worked up over 20 cents worth of chinese made magnet. In the words of comedy great, Mr George Carlin "They're symbols, and I leave them to the symbol-minded." |

On my old car, I had a Screeching Weasel sticker that said "My child is an honor student at Screeching Weasel High School". |

I hate them because you don't need to freakin' parade around with them. Write a letter with a care box if you support them. It won't help if you're way over here with a magnet on your car. |

I also hate it when I tell someone I dislike them, and they go "OMG! YOU DON'T SUPPORT OUR TROOPS BECAUSE YOU HATE THE RIBBONS! AARRRGGGHHHBUBBLEBAGELBARGLEBUICK!" No, I do support the troops. I just think you could do a little better than riding around in your SUV with a magnet on it. |

My pet peeve is with people who have been on Homestarrunner.com for longer than me. I started last Thanksgiving and my friend's been going since 2003. He STILL hasn't seen all the toons or sbemails and he claims to be a bigger fan than me since he's been around longer. I know 3 people who are like this. Seriously, it'd take you an hour to watch everything and you can't even devote yourself to it for that long. |

Actually, my back-of-the-envelope calculation tells me that it would take 4 hours or more to watch the Strong Bad Emails alone. |

Okay, okay 4 hours, but they've seen some stuff (mostly things like montage and dragon). Still, how can you control yourself? How can you know there is comedic gold just sitting there and not watch it? |

Yes, that's right, I have no life.
