Acekirby wrote: My new Peeve: FireFox
All of a sudden, it wouldn't let me access it. It said "Create Profile" or something. So, I clicked "Default". It said something like "No can do.", and I was all "AAARRRRRGGGGBLBLBLBL!!!". So, I created one, and when it loaded up, all my settings were reset to nothing. Now I have to go to all my old bookmarks and re-do everything. Dur. What I would do is rename default's directory to something like fdkjladsflkjalkjf.default, then remove default from Firefox's profile list, then create a new profile, then import bookmarks from the old profile directory's "bookmarks.html" file. If you just had another instance of Firefox running, I would close one of them. |

I made a pet peeves thread on another forum that I am on and after 4 days, it is 10 pages long. |

I agree. I mean this place is nice and big. But some places just get too hectic. It's almost scary how fast those place's threads get so much response so quick. |

If (When) this place gets that big, I'll probably leave, seeing as pages will take forever to load, and the bandwidth would be such a bad problem that it would happen within ten days of the month. And that's no fun, right? |

Peeve: Not knowing when to quit on here. I'll be like, "I'll just finish up looking at the new posts and then I'll be done." But once I'm done looking at new posts, Genereal Discussion or Off-Subject Discussion will have like, five new posts again. Make since? |

Ya, that bums me out especially when I am looking forward to eating a nice piece of toast, with yummy nutella on it. Peeve: Ordering food, and then after salivating over it, it comes, and it tastes bad. |

Ugh. Yes. I hate that. Although I've had a pretty good track record with ordering food. I get steaks. And Filet Mingon. But that happenes when they char-grill a steak.

Baseball games scores that are, like, 1-12. Since you know the other team isn't going to win, you just have to sit there eating your cheeseburger and go play on the bluff. Darn you, Memphis Redbirds, darn yoou! |

Darn you, Memphis Redbirds, darn yoou! Hey, take a look at the Padres! My brother is blaming our leaving for their one (1) win since we left. And it seems like they've only score one run in each game. Stupid Padres. So, I guess my peeve is teams that suck. Or, MLB divisions that suck. Like the NL West! Way to be sub-.500!! |

Not as bad as the NFL West. When a division leader is under .500, you know it's a bad division. Now, the Patriots, on the other hand...-*SHOT TEN TIMES IN THE GRILL! |

We're a mile high from the ocean, but light-years away from even a pennant. Woo. On another note, one of my biggest pet peeves is when people leave a light on when they leave a room. Immediately, I always either demand that the person turn the light off, or I do it myself because he or she is too frickin' lazy. |

The NL West is a mystery to me. The Dodgers, D' Backs and Padres seemed to be playing so well when the season was a few weeks old, and now they've gone south. How pathetic is it the Rockies actually have the BEST record of NL West teams since early June?? Bigger pet peeve: teams that have potential to do great on paper, but underachieve like mad, and lose close games they have won on completely stupid crap (i.e. every Phillies loss to the Marlins in the last two years). Blergh. |
