My mom says she doesn't pay me an allowance because I never help her with anything. Then I say she never asks for help with anything, and she says I never ask IF I can help. Regardless, she MAKES me do the laundry anyway, and she used to pay me an allowance (3 dollars a week, la-dee-freakin-da) for it but quit with that.

My newest pet-pevve is the smell of paint.
I hate it especially right now, because my dad and I are painting all of our bathrooms. And it stinks, and I hate it. But, I do get money for helping my dad, so that's pretty cool.

Well I'm 11 and I get 3 pounds "allowance". Which is approximitly 6 dollars. Thats 24 dollars a month. Boyah.

My parents never gave me an allowance as a child. Remember parents, if you don't want your child to end up sitting in front of a computer screen talking to TEF like poor Ace, give generously to your children.

I'm sorry if I am hurting you SC, but this is something that has gone on for too long.

My latest peeve is having long, thick hair in the summer. It makes the back of my neck unbelievably hot, so I have to clip it up, and THEN it starts drooping.

Yes, but you have to remember, sometimes they are kidding. I mean, I'm called Spamrod on the occasion. It's a joke. But it is true that you sometimes post for the sake of a post. You can't just have a one sentence, 5 word post sometimes. I don't wanna be mean or anything, but I'm just telling ya.

Ugh. My mom does that, too. Also, she double-clicks on hyperlinks, and clicks on menus (like if she were in Start, she would CLICK on Programs) and I'm always like, "YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO THAT!!!" and then she calls me Miss Correct-All, and Correct-All is a brand of laxative, so while that's funny, it's all g'arr-ish.

Another old pet peeve: People who insist on putting two spaces after each period, even though they're not using a typewriter or a monospaced font. Folks, this is the 21st century; you're not in Mrs. McOlderson's keyboarding class anymore. When was the last time you saw a newspaper article or novel written like that?

Old Habits Die Hard. As much as I try, I can't bring my self to put 1 space after a sentence. You can't tell from the web, as the browser automatically removes the 2nd space, but I can't not put that second space.

Yeah, this is pretty much exactly the same habit I have that I can't get rid of either. I never even really noticed that web browsers automatically remove that 2nd space until you just brought that up. Hmm...

Another peeve on here: People who don't take their turn in H*R Clue (or any other games here). Seriously, that game was moving along fine for two rounds, and now all of a sudden, the first three players all forgot to take their turn. Urggh - it kinda takes a bit of the fun out of it.
