That reminds me of another peeve: carts in our school. Our school has very narrow hallways, except for where the lockers are. And there's always some teacher pushing some cart. IN THE FRONT OF A BIG LINE.

Teacher with cart: *blank stare*
Kid in front: *another blank stare*

And the teachers wonder why we're always late for class.

When people put clothes on dogs. I have a friend with a jack russel, and if you don't put a sweater on it during the winter, it will freeze to death. But when she starts dressing it up in tuxes and leather jackets, that really gets on my nerves.

Augh. I can sympathize. That must suck.

A peeve of mine is when people leave trash sitting around, and don't bother to pick it up. It's just common courtesy.

There's this kid in our school who darts (literally runs) down the halls with one of those things. It makes this Formula 1 race-car sound.

I think some kid gave him a ticket.

Here's a peeve of mine for a while: "You had to be there" stories. I mean, come on. Don't tell me the story if it's only funny to people who were there. I WASN'T there, so therefore, it's a waste of time trying to get me to understand it.

Gha that bugs me too.
One other thing that drives me FREAKING NUTZO is when a band covers a song and gets such a huge hit they don't know who did the original.
as in

No Doubt's - It's my Life originally by ___? (most people think its not a cover

Manfred Man Band - Blinded by the Light. IT'S THE BOSS' SONG FOR PEA'S SAKE!

Fred Durst - You gotta have faith. Okay that one just ticks me off.

Alien Ant Farm - Smooth Criminal NO ONE WILL EVER COME CLOSE TO THE KING OF POP!

I curse them out in to their face. It is more satisfying that way.

Yeah, I'm certainly guilty of that one. What can I say - it's a bad habit. :p

Ah, BTG. So nice. :p Yah, I hate that too, mostly because my school is trash heaven.
I also hate Tech Deck things. People sit behind me in class play with them on the table, and it gets so freakin' annoying.

Pet Peeve: Not knowing I have to go to work.

Today, I was eating dinner, and the phone rang. It was Pizza Hut, wanting to know why I didn't come in at 5 like I was supposed to. This was at 5:20.

Thing is, I didn't think I had to work again until Wednesday. So I was 30 minutes late, but they didn't care, because they're never busy on Mondays and they got along fine without me for the half hour I wasn't there.

But I gotta start paying closer attention to crap like that. After all, I don't wanna get fired.

I know this sounds all typical and girly, but.....

I freakin hate breaking my nails!!!
I had 2 nice long ones. Broke them both one day after the other at work (not in anyone's food, that would've been gross!).
But now I'm having a hard time typing, I needed them to reach the keys properly!

Another peeve - big fat flies buzzing around the house. I dunno how they got in here!!

Wait wait wait...you should not talk Gravy. You leave crap lying around my house, including but not limited to soda cans, candy wrappers, and various other objects. It's not until I tells you to will you pick them up.

My biggest peeve is when people who don't actually like a band are wearing their shirt.

Pink Floyd, for example. I'm a big Floyd fan. But I feel like a conformist crap for brains when I wear my DSOTM shirt, because all of the posers are wearing it, too. Same with the Led Zeppelin shirts. Everyone's wearing them, regardless if they have only heard Stairway, or know what the last song is on Houses of the Holy (The Ocean, by the way).

Ive resorted to making iron on transfers to keep from having crap shirts. In fact, I'ma fire one on right now.

Here's a peeve I've had for a while: Going to a different school as my friends. Yeah, it's a new opportunity to meet people, but the main reason I didn't drop out of school three years ago (just kidding) was my friends. Now I only see them on weekends. Blargh.

Big peeve: canned smiles.

It seems to be most common among women: They decide that they only have one "good" smile, and whenever a camera gets within 100 yards of them their spider-sense kicks in and they put on that face and won't take it off until the camera goes away. The result is something like this: a hundred pictures with different poses and settings, but the exact same face. As a photographer, this seriously chafes me. It's impossible to get actual candid photos of these people. And half the time, their canned smile isn't even that good, and if they'd just loosen up a bit and let you take a real candid or two, you could get really great photos. *sigh*

Aww, I have a roller backpack and everything. Too bad that the bottom of it keeps getting worn down when it goes down stairs and I have to keep it together with duct tape to pevent it from falling apart.

You guys really don't want to meet me in person. Seriously.

Ugh. The Padres lost. Which basically ruins my chance of seeing a game.
Stupid Reggie Sanders with your stupid six runs batted in.
People in San Diego are so excited. For a Cardinals' sweep, I guess.

I know what you mean. When I was a freshman in highschool, I left my Public school and went to a Catholic school. Now I never see my old friends anymore.

Yeah, this year I went to a new school. Luyckily it was a brand new school, so everyone didn;t now anybody, so it was easy to amke enw freinds, but I rarely talk to my old freinds, except one from two years ago, who ended up being in the same homeroomk as me, which is pretty cool.

Well, think of it this way: be grateful the Padres even got into the playoffs in the first place. It's not like they really deserved to be there.

If I were a Padres fan on the West Coast and still in school, I'd actually be more peeved about the game starting at 10:00 Pacific Time - they really should have had it at 1 or so to accomodate the younger fans. Not any later, though, because that would rob the Yankees of their prime time spot, and no one would dare do that.

New peeve: When people quit

You canh look at that two ways, I just noticed, and both are a peeve to me, but the main one is when people quit from online games. i was playign checkers, and I knew I was going to lose, but I didn't quit, because I know how muhc taht bugs people. Next game, I have 4 kings and just double jump'd him/her, and they quit,. Really annoying

It alos annoys me when people quit in everyday life. They think they're dumb and not good at anything. This isn't as much of a peeve as it is a "Shut up, stop complaining, and do something!" thing. So many people these days say 'i can't do anything, I'm too dumb" or any number of negative adjectives at teh end of that sentence. People think everyone who's got it good in life was born smart and clever, and didn't have to work their way to the top. Stop complaing, and get your hands dirtry! People need to realize that you have to try to succeed.

Well, they were supposed to win the N.L. Worst in the first place, but, they started to suck after a 22-6 May. May should be 155 days long. :p
Now the stupid Yankees are winning. Boo.

Yeah, my friends and I were all pretty angered about that. I mean, if they are trying to attract the younger demographic, why show meaningful post-season games while all the kids are at school? How stupid.

Peeve: The crust on Pop Tarts. I like Pop Tarts, but it sucks that you have to eat through that stupid crust to get to it! They should just put the crust at the end, like on pizza, so you don't have to eat it.

I could, but it would be annoying if I had to tear off the crust every time I wanted a Pop Tart, and also it could break the Pop Tart in half, and lastly and most importantly, I'm too friggin' lazy.
