Heh. I love people like that. When I was 16 or 17 I was in a hurry and pulled into a parallel parking spot forwards and ended up scraping the corner of the bumper of the car to the rear of the spot I was pulling into. Here's the funny part: the owner was sitting in it at the time. I got out of the car and he crooked a finger at me and beckoned me over, looking very serious. I went over and apologized profusely (my friends who were with me just gawked at my bad luck), and the guy didn't even get out of the car to look at the damage (there was barely any, though, and the car wasn't in the best shape to begin with). He just told me to go along my merry way. Weird, but cool.

No it's not.

When no-one is on, you know you won't get a reply, when 10 people are on, ou wait for a reply and don't get one.

Well atleast when you're the only user on there might be some posts you havn't answered from while you wern't on. I meant like, when there's nothing to post and you just sit there, waiting for something to happen.

EDIT: Another peeve: The jillion anime threads that Kahn revived and are annoying me in the off topic section.

Peeve: People, don't sing "Smoke on the Water" or any other old song if you don't even know who plays it or you can't sing the chorus.

I was walking with my friend today when he started singing "Sunshine of your Love". I was impressed. "You like Cream?", I asked.

"Oh, no, I just heard it off of School of Rock."

I almost strangled him.

Arg!

Here's a small forum peeve of mine. It's when people quote someone else, but don't bother to write out who wrote the original statement. Here's what I mean. They write this:
Quote:
Yeah, I've played live at my freind's house, people get really mad soemtimes. Not at me though, just my freinds. I suck at Halo.

Instead of this:
Ju Ju Master wrote:

Yeah, I'm probably being too nitpicky, but it's just a little thing that bugs me. Especially because I have to search back in the thread to find out who said the quote originally.

Aww. Poor Ace. :p
XBL is great. I've had it for a little over a week, and I probably play about thirty Halo matchmade games a day. It's really fun.

Peeve: "Easy-Tear Perforation"
Yeah, right. Never. NEVER is it easy to tear the perforation with ripping your essay in two.

I have XBL, but... my internet doesn't reach my Xbox upstairs, so I'm trying to get it to be wired so I can play again. I remember playing Halo 2, sometimes you'd get someone on your team who cusses every 2 words. Like....

Yes, definatly. Even if those people are cool, their coolness is just decimated by their pronounciations.

Peeve: My grandfather. My grandfather is insisting that I go in to the Military. He says that I need to go to Iraq and support my country. I don't want to, I was planning on joining the military up until the War in Iraq, but I didn't because of my stance towards the war.

Tell him that if he doesn't stop nagging you about it, you'll join the Navy instead.

Or tell him that fighting an illegal war for oil under a Commander in Chief with a failed foreign policy and a failed domestic policy isn't your idea of supporting your country. I'm sure that would go over well.

He was in the Navy. He fought at the Battle of Midway. I was actually planning on joining the Air Force, I wanted to be a pilot.

As for the second part, I tell him that all the time, but he thinks Iraq is still worth fighting for.

Three new peeves today. Which should I start with?

#1. People who try to sounbd like they are informed with somethi9ng when they aren't. Such as current events, they hear one thing, and now they know everything about it. Quite annoying.

#2. Probably the worst of today, people who are "100% sure." Like my sister, for example, she's 100% sure taht ghosts exist because she saw them on soem tv show calledc unexplained mysteries. You can't be 100% bsure without facts.. facts not including tv shows that could've easily been tampred with.

#3. Those girls who walk in the hall in a horizontal nline, taking up the whole hallway. You know, their arms are clugn together, and they're laughing, not paying attention, and nobody can get by. It's even worse when they're barely walking.

Peeve: I think my GameBoy is starting to die. Now most of you will think it's a GameBoy, who cares, but this is an Original Black and White GameBoy. It is 15 years old, that is older than most of the users on this forum. If you want to beat that, you'd have to get a tortise or a tree.

Well, you could always buy a replacement for five bucks on eBay.

You do know you can just sy excuse me and squeeze by right?

Or better yet when you see that yell this...

"RED ROVER RED ROVER WE CALL (YOUR REAL NAME) OVER!"

And then barrel towards them with your head down.

Yeah. You can't say excuse me to these girls (or at least, saying it would be ineffective), as indeed, they don't pay attention, and even if they did, they probably wouldn't pay you any care...

Oh, believe me, they're paying attention. This is high school we're talking about: there's little the popular kids care more about than how many people are looking at them.

If I were you I'd be sorely tempted to try out Mr.KISS 66's second suggestion.
