You can't say excuse me to these girls (or at least, saying it would be ineffective), as indeed, they don't pay attention, and even if they did, they probably wouldn't pay you any care... If they heard, they'd move by, but the hallways are loud. They're nice girls, but they sometimes make going through the halls quite a hassle. InterupterJones wrote: Oh, believe me, they're paying attention. This is high school we're talking about: there's little the popular kids care more about than how many people are looking at them.
Middle school, though for many taht'd be worse. However, most of the kids at my school aren't crazy idiots. It's an advanced type school for math, so most people are pretty mature. Just unaware sometiems.. sometimes too often. |

Peeve: People who do not, under any circumstances, say "no". Case in point: I invite eight people to go out and all but one says yes. Two other people who are going try to coax the No'er into going with us, but, she . . . never . . . says . . . NO! Said person ended up not going, of course, but people who can't assert themselves and say "no", well, I can't stand them. *shiver*. |

I think his twin brother built an ark, Jones... Pet Peeve: having intruders in my house. Seriously, the other night, this dude just walked into my living room through my patio door. I came around the corner and saw him looking at my DVDs. He ran off. Had I taken any longer in the kitchen, I would probably be sans several DVDs. My big worry is that, now that he's seen my stuff, he may come back when I'm not home. I'm not as worried about him being here when I'm home, as I can take care of myself... I can't defend my stuff when I'm not here, though. |

You should seriously call the police and at least give them a description of the guy. They probably won't catch him, but it can't hurt and at least make you feel like you did something. |

I like woah. I think woah and whoa have two different meanings. To me, whoa is more for expressing surprise, while woah expresses amazement, like when you're first seeing Kiki's art. |

I did that after it happened. The lady kept telling me to calm down. I guess she thought I was scared. I actually thought it was kinda funny. The "OWNED" look on his face was hillarious.. |

But if he's just stealign dvds, he's probably not much of a crook. |

peeves: 1) the police; you report something and they "note it" but yeah, what about my bike? 2) the stupid pop up thing that comes up every 12 seconds (seriously i counted) saying that i need to update my virus protection software- i mean, it's like blackmail. just makes me want to smash a hole in the computer screen. |

Peeve: People who "know" my political leanings based on the way I look or the music I listen to. I was going to go to a Veteran's Day thing today, and this guy just comes up to me, and, while I won't post exactly what he said to me, as the language filter would implode, it suffices to say that he informed me that Veteran's Day isn't for protesting wars and calling those who served "baby killers" and stuff. He went on to tell me how "my kind" is out of favor and that George Bush won and I need to deal with that. He finished by telling me that if I ever wanted to go anywhere in life, I needed to stop smoking pot... What a retard... No wonder democrats think we republicans are so stupid. |

Wow... You have issues, kid. Whatever happened to tolerance? Dumb as they may be, they DO have a right to believe whatever they want. Tolerance means putting up with people. You don't have to like that they say, do, think, etc, just realize that, as long as they aren't hurting people ("hate" speech hurts nobody), they are behaving in a way they're allowed to. |

Pet Peeves? Let's see... 1. Going online and within three seconds having half the world IM me. Jeez...couldn't they wait for me to situate myself, perhaps check some email? 2. People who worry too much about what other people think, who try too hard to be cool, or purposely exclude others to "raise" their own rankings. Such is common in grade school and high school, but I'm in my sophomore year of college and I still. see. this. Makes me graaaar.
3. Mean people in general, especially those who pick on people who can't defend themselves. 4. My clumsiness, I'm always bumping into things. 5. People who eat truckloads of junk food and never gain a pound. 6. Homestar Runner updates that lack a healthy dose of .
7. The fact that during the night I start worrying about every little thing and lose sleep. Things that I generally don't worry about in daylight. Wow, that's a lot of peeves. I've issues methinks. |
