Well, i think it might be because we're been working on the registration process to prevent bots, so we (admins) had to tweak the code a bit.

I hate those weeks at work when you've got nothing to do at for most of the week, and then you have a million things to do on the Friday.

Wuh, I'm tired now.

Yeah, I hate those weeks too. Mostly because I procrastinate.

That always seems to happen at my school. Six assignments due Tuesday, none due Wednesday, and five due Thursday (Most of them large). I'm just glad I don't procrastinate, otherwise I'd be screwed.

I can't open page 188 of this thread, it says no posts exis for this topic.
Does the same for the Word Association Game.

Hopefully it lets me post this reply, because obviously other people can access that page.
Yeah, that happens alot on the Act like a n00b thread. It is no big deal, all you have to do is go to the previous page, all it says is that there is an extra page when there isn't.

The only thing worse is when you have absolutely nothing to do on Friday and you have to watch those endless minutes tick away before you start your weekend.
I've had days like that and thought "You know, I know I wouldn't get paid, but I could sit at home and do nothing."

I have a pet peeve from my Christmas job at the UPS Store: People who get all frustrated when we tell them that 3-Day is the only way their packages can get back by Xmas. You waited, people! Shop early, shop often.

Man.. Christmas is the worst time to work with the public. Seriously, it becomes "Peace on Earth, good will toward man, unless they're in line in front of me or they don't give me what I want when I want it, regardless of how many people are in front of me or when I'm at the store"...

I used to hate Christmas when I was at WalMart. By "hating Christmas", I mean that I was thinking Christ couldn't have been born, knowing that things would get as out of hand as they got.

My heart totally goes out to every cashier, waitress, clerk, and anyone else that has to work with the public for the next few weeks.

Nothing like the "happiest" time of the year to make you wish for the end of humanity.

Well, suicide rates and reported child abuse rates are at their highest around Christmas, or so I've heard. I can easily believe it.

I am so peeved at you guys nominating Chris Bad right now.

Probably one of the most retarded things you've ever done.

At least someone agrees with me.

If they weren't so worked up about keeping it a secret (Which, because of it's obviousness, would be impossible to do) it could've been a bit funny.

The nominations aren't going to go through, anyways, so it doesn't matter. Everyone knows the posts weren't serious.

EDIT: Or... not.

Well, they've gone through, but someone's gonna talk to Teff about it, I think......

In other news, I'm peeved that I sleep a lot. I missed the ending of A New Hope, darnit!

Well. That whole ramble about first class flyingin my last post made me remember how much I can't stand flying in coach. I'm the kind of guy who doesn't put their seatbacks down, because I know that once you do, you basically cut the person behind you's room in half, and it was already small to begin with. I know they're free to do whatever they want, and I know it's my choice to limit my space like that, but I just get so angry at the person in front of me whenever they recline their seats. And I always get stuck behind the little kid who puts it back the very second the attendant says they can.
Oh well, that's life for ya.

Wuh. As an ex-waitress, I know what that's like. All those culchies descending on the city at Christmas..... who don't realise that food takes longer to prepare when we're dealing with a hundred other orders at the same time.

4Chan was already pretty bad. It's nothing but crap that's NSFW.

Peeve: People who don't understand the forum awards.

Yes, I screwed up the rules ONCE. That doesn't compare to people who have like, seconded themselves FOUR times.

Good thing Teff is going to ban people from these awards if they keep it up.

Hey, Ju. Over here.

Just because it's common doesn't mean it's OK.

*Pulls out the Manual of Style-thrower*

Any more questions?

My peeve is the way my mom pronounces Calamari. It's pronounced Ca-La-Ma-Ree. She pronounces it Ca-La-Ma-NG. She completely leaves off the "Ri". She claims it's because she's Italian, but no-one in her family speaks Italian. That, and she grew up in an Irish part of the city. It just makes no sense, but it drives me crazy.

I'm really getting ticked off at the "No posts exist for this topic glitch. I click on the link, get the glitch, and then I get distracted and [s]fly away[/s] click on the link to the glitch again. Grrr...

Another peeve; The phrase "No one." No matter how I write it, it still looks wrong. No one seems to jerky, no-one feels weird, and noone is just... wrong.

my dad's stingyness.
he wouldn't listen to my request before to buy a christmas tree before, so now we had to buy one 5 days away from christmas.
Who bloody cares if a good sized one costs 200 dollars! It will last for thirty years! Why are real pine trees so cheap? You have to throw it away after two weeks!

so in the end, he bought the crappiest tree in the whole mall. it's only two feet tall and looks like it was manufactured by Wolverine, but at least it only cost twenty dollars. now he has money to spend to buy us something for lunch. no, wait, that's too expensive. come on, kids. let's go home and eat wholemeal peanut paste sandwiches. maybe if you're really good, i'll let you use butter.

My mum is like the opposite. She goes out and buys crap for herself when we have no money, then we can't buy stuff that we need.
SHE SPENDS ALL OUR MONEY!
But I forgive her. She's been very upset about the whole family-being-torn-into-two-pieces thing.
