I wonder if the lady upstairs knows that when her bathtub floods, gravity pulls the water downward and it doesn't magically disappear.

In other news, did you know a light bulb will still work when the light fixture is entirely filled with water?

(I'm hoping it was her bathtub anyway :eekdance:)

Maybe you should just give her the ServPro bill.

My peeve is sleeping in. Not until like, 10 or 1 am, I mean sleeping until 1pm. That freaking sucks.

Yea. That does get annoying sometimes.

But doesn't it feel good to be well-rested? Even though you miss most of the day.

Yeah, but I don't get to enjoy that feeling though, because the rest of the day I'm mentally kicking myself for sleeping in so late.

I have been dealing with the same thing. However mine is a little different: I can't get to sleep. My lights don't go out until 3-3:30 now.

Same here. Even if I'm tired, it usually takes at least an hour before I can actually fall asleep. It can be pretty annoying, though it does give me good time to think.

When I go to bed, I give the iPod a good listen. That usually puts me to sleep. Especially if it's Billy Joel.

I also watch movies on my iPod when I'm not tired... that gets me good and sleepy and by the time it's over I'm dozing off.

Can't sleep at night? The iPod Guru prescribes iPod listening before bed for better results. Call now and get your iPod for just 5 payments of $49.99!

Of course, that only works for me sometimes. Other times I get way too into the song that is playing, and I can't get to sleep.

Gangster kids. They swarm my school. I think it's funny how they brag about being stupid.

You could find the most boring book you could ever think of to read, start reading it, and soon your brain will think, "Oh man, sleeping would be so much better than this drivel".
Then you will sleep!

The other night I was waking up every 2 hours or so. How annoying!

Yes, but that would involve reading.
I listen.

To continue with the sleep issues, I hate it when I wake up in the middle of the night, for no reason, and I'm like, "Okay, I'll just go back to sleep." And then it ends up taking five hours to get to sleep, if I'm lucky. If I'm unlucky, I just lay awake forever.
And I also hate it when your head hits the pillow, and the next thing you know it's morning. That's kinda nice sometimes, but when there's school in the morning, I want my sleep to feel longer, so I can be away from school longer. You know what I'm saying?

10 years from now, they'll blame the Republicans because they don't have jobs, too..

Arggh! People don't understand metal! They think it's a bunch of screaming, "Satan is the <Censored> god! Worship him" among a bunch of heavy crunching guitar noises with nothing but double bass pedals through the whole song. The DJ at our school (a teacher who plays music on Fridays) played Master of Puppets by Metallica, and this friend of mine said that it sucked. I knew her from church and all, but metal isn't all that bad sometimes. Metallica doesn't even have any satanic songs.

So I just got my iPod back from a fix-up. The stupid hard drive failed on me, and it wouldn't boot into disk mode.
So today was the first day I have been able to listen to music on the go for about 4 weeks. And what happens? My battery life is drained, by the time I finish maybe an hour of playback. No EQs are on, backlight's off.
Looks like I got to send it back. Again.

And yes, I did charge it. I charged it all night.

It seems like I always have the worst luck with any electronics.

Here's why I own an iPod:

One day while in the Michigan Avenue Apple Store my dad decided to bring in his 4G iPod because of the problems it was having. The man at the iPod Bar immediately raised the iPod to his ear and listened to the drive and split second later he put the iPod down and said that the drive was failing and then he went into the back room and came out with a new(4G) iPod.

Yeah, I love it when people bring me their iPods like that, and their like, "omg, wut's wrong with my iPOD!?" I take a look at it, and it's like, frozen or something. "Reset it."
"omgz, u saved my lyf!!"

When I took my iPod into Geek Squad at Best Buy one time(Best Buy is where I bought it, and it was just more convenient to go there instead of way downtown to the Apple Store.), the guy was like, "So what's wrong?"
Me: "Hard drive failure."
Guy: "Well how do you know?"
(It was at this point that I figured out I knew more about iPods than that guy)
Me: "I can't boot it into disk mode, and it just keeps resetting."
Guy: "Well, how do you know that that means there's a hard drive failure?"
...
Me: "Dad, can we PLEASE go to the Apple Store?"

I have an mp3 player.

My old one got left in my pants and got washed, and it worked for like two days and then broke.

Heheh. That was funny. (I show little exaggeration, but I am not lying.)

Another pet peeve: When something has to use big words to explain things.

I know it was funny, I was laughing when it happened.

And I often use big words, but ones that aren't so big that no one understands them.

My peeve: crappy internet.

My peeve? Two words:
Administrator Account.
I can't download anything onto MY computer, because he never gave me the password to the administrator account.

What I hate most about sleeping is that I'm not awake to enjoy it.

That's usually how it works.
:p

I hate going to school. I know it's kind of important ( ;) ), but I really just wished it didn't exist. Along with the rest of you people in school.
