I admit I'm one of the people that do that. >_>

But in my defense, it's not TWO SECONDS! It's more like... um... five or ten minutes. Srsly.

If it were literal though, I could understand what the problem would be. I totally DON'T do that. F'reals.

I know. I mean, if the person is gone for, like, ten minutes, then I'll ask where they are. But I have this one friend who seriously will not let me deviate for a split second. I can't stand it.

I see. Well I'm not like that. IN FACT WE COULD GO ON AIM RIGHT NOW SO I COULD PROVE IT. HINT. :p

Peeve: People who run around yelling "impeach Bush!"

I don't mind the fact that they're saying it. I'm just annoyed by their ignorance of what the term impeach actually means. It's nothing more than an indictment of an official. It's got nothing to do with removing them from office.
Interestingly enough, Clinton was impeached, Nixon wasn't.

Lying about an affair under oath.

Lying under oath is perjury, no matter how stupid said lie is (and yes, that was a pretty stupid lie).

They shouldn't have been asking him about it in the first place. Clinton having an affair was no business of anyone outside of the White House. The American people proved it too. His popularity went through the roof when he got impeached.,

Yes, but was it truly enough for him to be tried, and possible removed from office?

Anyways, my peeve is getting called to come in to work on my day off....again. Seriously, I haven't had a day off in two weeks.

Give me a President in the last 100 years that has been honest with us. Besides, isn't it always better to ask for forgiveness? He asked for forgiveness and we gave him that, plus that also reminded us that he is human and open to temptation like the rest of us. Should we condemn him for giving into temptation?

Seriously.

Also, another peeve of mine is a saying that Rad told me about a month ago, and it just came back, and won't leave. It's like The Game.

Forgiveness is a matter of the right-hand kingdom. Civil justice is in the left. I don't see terribly many criminals in our courts that receive the same kind of forgiveness.

That he would cheat on his wife, then commit an act of criminal perjury (for which any ordinary citizen would serve hard time), demonstrates that he is not a trustworthy man in general. I'm sorry, but if I ever shook hands with the man, I'd be checking my pockets to see if he stole my wallet.

I don't remember Carter ever covering up the truth, or ever needing to.

Misunderstanding or pwnage, it doesn't really matter. So shall we continue on with the regularly scheduled rants about peeves?

Well, you see, son, in March 2003, President George W. Bush invaded Iraq with dat dere troops. Lots of people opposed the war, saying that more attention needed to be brought to different Middle Eastern countries rather than Iraq specifically. Others said that we had invaded Iraq merely because of the oil supplies there.

Anyway, now there have been over 3,000 American deaths in Iraq, which has got some people pretty cheesed off.

Others still hate Bush because they feel his inadequacy at public speaking demonstrate his lack of intelligence; (i.e. "on the whim of a hat" "Newkyaloor" "There ought to be limits to freedom")

I personally don't view George W. Bush as vera bad, but that's just my opnion.

Lol!

BTG's view of the whole situation is my view as well.

Nixon resigned because he used underhanded political tactics, something untrustworthy in government.

Clinton simply had an affair, something that has nothing to do with government and is really nobody's business.

and for those six and a half reasons, my family think Mr. Clinton should be president again. he knew what he was doing. unfortunately, he lied about having an affair.
