Peeve: News websites/channels that don't get their priorities straight. A week or two ago, there was that mining disaster in Russia, where 100-something people died. And, when I went to Yahoo! to check my email, the top story was Sanjaya on American Idol. That's just screwed up.

Like putfile? They used to have a thing you could click through 20 links to download stuff so you could still listen to things people put up there if you use Firefox. But not anymore. Don't know what that's about. So people: don't use the putfile please or I won't be hearing whatever it is you put up there. And neither will anyone else too lazy to install the IE tab extension or open up an IE window and copy/paste the URL.

when people tell you they wanna hang out on a friday night, then call at 8:30 and say that they're hanging out with someone else instead.
especially after you turned down plans with other people and everyone else has plans so you're stuck sitting at home all alone on a friday night.
feeling really depressed and lonely and ticked off.

Now I'm bored and trying to figure out why this game I rented recieved an award for "Game of The Year" (Mech Assault).

I know this sounds a bit gross, but...

My peeve is that when my mom is having her...uh..."that time of the month", she always leaves her "stuff" in the toilet and doesn't flush. Do you know how gross that is? God!

I've long quit trying to figure out why certain games and movies get awards.

Drama isn't brought over here from there. That implicates that there's some kind of huge dramabombs over there before things go crazy here, which is never the case. Drama forms over here when HRWFWF users clash with HRWF users.

This isn't about the HRWFWF at all. All I see is that there are members of OUR forum who've gotten into their heads that they don't have to abide by our rules, and seem to take delight in antagonizing our members. Now, it does appear that an inordinately large proportion of them belong to the HRWFWF, but that's beside the point. But you might want to ask yourself this question: do you really want to continue this discussion right now?

Comics that serve absolutely no purpose other than to preach their writers' opinion (i.e. Doonesbury, B.C. and especially Nothing Nice to Say). Speaking of which, I also hate lame parodies of anime in cartoons that serve absolutely no purpose than to preach their writers' opinion on anime (i.e. The Fairly Queer Parents, All Grown Up, Family Guy, Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi, Stinkoman).

Concur'd. I could've gone to a killer party tonight and made it a weekend long party (I have one to go to tommorow). However, my friend wanted me to come hang out with him instead. So, I ditched the party plan and told him I'd meet up with him around 4:00. I get home around 6:30 to a phone call. He got caught smoking, again, the same way he got caught last time. Now I'm bored and trying to figure out why this game I rented recieved an award for "Game of The Year" (Mech Assault).

That's terrible, Carrie! I say kick 'em! Frankly, that's pretty much how I spend most of my Friday nights these days. And don't say, "You're old!" like you always do. That doesn't mean I like being alone any more than the next single person. My peeve is how people mindlessly worship some mediocre things without considering the possibility that there is something out there that is better. Take iPods for example. Apple was really evil on this one. They practically force you to use their media player, which is just pure evil (The act of making you use the player, not the player itself). They are way overpriced. People make such a big deal about how many songs they can hold, but really, when does anyone listen to 1000 songs without ever stopping by their computer even once?
