I agree with Noid, we have almost no actual discussion of H*R here.

Wait, we do, but it's in the top half of the forum there that no one down here discusses anyway.

It seems to me like Fun Polls is the border between two completely different forums.

That's what I've thought for a while. I think that's why we get some controversy over it. H*R Forum people like to go there to make H*R polls, Off-Subject Forum people go there to make polls about other things.

The H*R-only people also seem to have a lesser grasp on grammar and spelling, but that's just my take on it...

also, my name is Homestar related. somehow. Coach Z was gonna dress up as The Noid for Halloween...and...I went with it. Either that or I would've chosen Buhubs(heh).

LOL FAKE ACCOUNT!

in my opinion, the H*R people venture over to off-subject just to say things like "I hope it has the email songs on it!".

While it's true that in the bottom half of the forum, at least, no one talks about Homestar Runner, the forum is still mostly made up of Homestar Runner fans or former Homestar Runner fans. Therefore, if you don't like people talking about or referencing it, GTFO the forum.

Simple as that.

An ongoing peeve of mine is how insanely expensive protein supplements are. And how many grams of protein I "need" to gain weight. Is it a minimum of 1.0 or 1.5 grams per pound per day?

*angry sigh* I just don't want to feel my bones under my skin anymore.

Just eat a lot of tuna fish. It's cheap, and it's almost completely protein.

Yeah, I just have drinks and stuff, since I'm, allergic to fish and some meat products take a long time to prepare, to the point of not being worth it.

I invest in the huge jars of protein drink mix. The way I see it, it's only like $30-ish per month, and otherwise, the $1000-ish I've spent on weight training equipment becomes worthless otherwise.

It's stupid. I guess it would be all right, but definitely not after Yahoo shoved it down my throat as being "THE GREATEST VIDEO OF ALL TIME!!!1"

You know, I have to agree. Not to say that this place is turning into a *chan ripoff(this being a forum that that being an imageboard, that would be silly), just that many HRWF members are using *chan memes and phraces way too often. They're not funny if you have to use them every dayum discussion. You do not look like you're from some type of Internet elite because you can pitch a few words.
I know this sounds wierd coming from me. But, for the love of originality and all things sane, please stop.

When people say that "noob" is spelt wrong; apperantly it's only supposed to be "n00b". WTF?

Also when this forum craps out about every five days and makes it so every post is unreadable(i.e, everything'll stay orange, no matter how many times you read it. Like it is now.)

Speaking of forum crap-outs, does anyone else get that thing where it takes 20 minutes to post, yet everything else works perfectly?

I find a bit of irony in the fact that they're spelling with numbers, but they're doing it to make fun of someone that's supposed to be stupid.

NUMBERS AREN'T USED IN SPELLING CLASS!

I have a peeve. rental places that no longer carry VHS tapes. just because they're old, some things aren't available on DVD.

on top of that, do you know how hard it is to get a VCR cleaning tape these days?

I hate it when people decide to call me at 3am to decide to leave me a message. I'm a light sleeper, and wake up at the slightest noise....let me be!
