Have you considered getting a pop-up blocker?

They don't work.

Either that or my mom removed them.

Two things, Guy:
1. Firefox.
2. AdBlock Plus.

Oh. And these pop-up ads. I get them on every page to which I go. Even HRWiki. They're just full of free iPod ads and Spyware removal programs and crap like that.

If it's even on HRWiki, and you're using firefox, then it's probably some spyware. Run a virus scan.

Virus scans don't catch spyware/adware.
At least mine doesn't. It DOES has spyware removal stuff, but I never use it.
I run spybot and adaware every now and then, but they don't ever find much if anything.

I don't know what the heck my dad did with that program. I can't find it anymore. Seems like he removed it. X-(

I can personally guarantee that Hrwiki has no kinds of ads or spyware on it at all. You need a better spam blocker.

Cars that go over the cross walks when I'm riding my bike. I'm thinking seriously of just riding my bike over their hoods.

Ugh, panic attacks stink.

I used to have panic disorder, and I would get attacks in the middle of something important, generally class.

Ever since I started using my TV as a monitor, I pretty much watch DVD's on the computer rather than that crappy cheap Memorex DVD player I used to have. There's only a couple of drawbacks:

1. I can't get my remote to work with PowerDVD the way I would like.

and (the most irritating)

2. I hate how half the DVD's I insert into the drive, instead of just playing the DVD, keep trying to install software I don't need. I ALREADY HAVE POWERDVD! I DON'T NEED ANOTHER STUPID PROGRAM! JUST PLAY MY DISK ALREADY!

Also, I wish there was some way to disable all those extra automatic menus and previews some DVD's have on them. Like the Firefly DVD's. I'd love just to be able to play all the eps on a disk at one time without having to navigate a separate menu for each ep.

Of course, if the MPAA weren't so anal retentive, I could just copy them and set them up the way I want. But NOOOOO! The MPAA has to completely trample underfoot the whole concept of Fair Use.

When my roommates decide that they're going to skip class the next day. They decide that they'll just stay up all night and blast music. Well, good for you for skipping class, I need to get up early, so turn off the Kanye and shut the crap up.

Inverse's Helpful Hints (TM) - Number #37: Never live with undergrads. Even if you are one.

The one year I lived with a handful of students, there were several instances where I seriously contemplated mass murder from being kept up all night by drunken revelers. Too bad I had "morals"...

Cap'n's Helpful Hints # 46: Go to a school that has a dry campus.

That will drastically lower the chances of drunk undergrads roaming your halls and making a mess of things. And if you think that's dumb because you want to go to college only to drink and party, you probably need to re-evaluate your priorities.

I lived in a non-alcoholic dorm on a dry campus.

It didn't change things.

There was more alcohol in the wing I lived in than there was in any bar in Bowling Green.

Dry campus = oxymoron.

Michelob Ultra is a wussy beer. It's water with a little beer flavoring. I could drink a case of Mich Ultra and not be buzzed.

I hate preps that light up as soon as they get off school property.

Smoking preps are basically the only thing I hate more than regular preps...

This man speaks nothing but truths.

Oh, and Gravey, I'll drink what I want. If you don't like it, so be it. Couldn't care less.

There is a little bit of drinking here, but nothing terribly visible, and none that reaches my hall. When you get expelled first violation, people tend to shy away from being rambunctuous. So, even when there is a little bit of under the counter type stuff happening, it doesn't affect anyone, save maybe puking in the bathroom once every two months. And Vity, it's not an oxymoron, thank you.
