I found it, but a searched for it, so I'll let someone else name it. It's kind of a stretch. |

Yeah, it is sort of a stretch, but I was curious to see if anyone remembered any of them. I mean, Pocky's a bit of stretch too, you know? And sorry Rammy, not right, get try. |

My peeve is that I have a test and two papers due today. And the test is in my African American course, and my prof scares me. |

Peeve: People who repost old, somewhat offensive links that I've seen quite a few times now. I swear, if one more person sends me "lolololo ur furry site's #3 on that weirdest website list", I'm going to rip out their heart and make them eat it. |

I got it cut out by an Aztec priest and then he fed it to me. He was nice enough to grill it for me. It tasted great.

Peeve: Windows Automatic Update wanting to restart my computer. Seriously, if I say that I want to restart my computer later ten times, then there should be something that tells the updater to let me manually do the restarting at a later time. Heck, I didn't even want to update right now. Since I am about to take a shower, my slow computer will probably be in its thirty-minute process of restarting once I get back to my room. |

I wholeheartedly agree. Those updates are the most annoying thing in the world. |

(GIS for "Indiana Jones rip out heart", tho I'm not sure if this is really from Temple of Doom cuz it's been forever since I saw it and only saw part of it) Peeve: I tried to post this last night, but as soon as I hit submit the forum crapped out and I decided just to go to bed. Wasn't there a server upgrade? |

Yeah. The forum crapped out on me a good few times since the UPGRADE to GET RID OF IT. Seriously, what? |

I think what happened is that we moved out servers from one place to another, but it wasn't an upgrade, per say. We've been in contact with Joey, and our server provider in order to try to sort this out.

Since I am about to take a shower, my slow computer will probably be in its thirty-minute process of restarting once I get back to my room. I disabled WAU on my systems. I did some reading recently and discovered that it actually CAUSES more problems than it solves. (for example, it messes up the Safe Mode somehow, so that if you have problems with your system, you can't enter Safe Mode until you've reinstalled Windows - makes it completely pointless). As long as you've got a Firewall on and some decent Anti-Virus software (I use AVG Free), you don't even need WAU. Besides, most of the updates are really there to benefit Micro$oft, not the end users. |

I thought you said "Rip off their head and make them eat it". Anyways, peeve: Urban myths about lockpicking. Surprise: It takes more than 2 seconds to pick a lock. I dont care what the character on 24 can do in 2 seconds. That's hollywood, this is real life. Also, no you cant pick a multipin lock (like on your door) with a bobby pin, unless it is defective. Now some of my idiot friends want to borrow my lockpicking sets or bump keys. I let them borrow them, since they are idiots and dont know how to use them, anyway. Then they come whining back to me asking me to pick the lock for them. |

I lockpick for fun sometimes, just to see if I can do it. I never succeed, but it's pretty fun trying to. Especially when the key to a particular lost room can't be found/inside the locked room. |

Lockpicking is for wusses. I've kicked a door off its hinges a couple times. |

Yes, but with lockpicking... (1) you don't have to repair the door afterward (2) less noise factor. |
