Layla - Clint Eastwood Rusty wrote: Clint Eastwood - Gorillaz
I was cleaning behind my dresser today, and I found my old Gorillaz self-titled album. I haven't heard some of these tracks in forever. Del is a good guy, yanno Apparently Clint Eastwood wrote a song once called "Gorillas." |

Rocket - Smashing Pumpkins I don't know why, but for some reason the guitar effects in this song remind me of 'A Knight's Tale'. |

The Police are surprisingly good at playing punk rock. I still prefer them as a ska band. I'm listening to Wanderlust by Nightwish |

I don't like In Flames very much, but this song is just awesome in riff form. |

Agreed. Currently listening to The Middle by Jimmy Eat World. It's a good pop/rock tune. ohwaitnowits You're Wrong by NOFX It's an acoustic track off of one of their EPs. Pretty decent. |

Ordinary People - Neil Young. From Neil's new album, Chrome Dreams II. It's epic, and a wonderful use of blues themes with horns, but his voice takes some time to get used to. |

Tranquilize - The Killers I like this song. A lot of my friends don't care for it though. Actually, they don't really care for anything on the new Killers album. |

The Police are surprisingly good at playing punk rock. Like Rusty said, that's what they started out as. They eventually morphed into their more popular sounds, like Message in a Bottle and Roxanne. I like to brag about it: I saw them during their second show (first venue) of their 2007 Reunion Tour in Fenway Park. They were still brilliant. |

Man Research - Gorillaz The Radio Dept. - I Don't Need love, I've Got My Band I think this is my favorite Radio Dept. song. |

Paint It Black - Less Deicide, More Minor Threat Hardcore is cool when it's fast and fun, not that jocky chug-chug. |

NP: Sun Ra, "Door Squeak". I love Sun Ra, especially the more alien free-jazz stuff like this. Much of the track is made up of Ra himself playing the squeak of a door whilst dissonant bursts of stringed instruments and percussion rise up and disappear again. I imagine most would hate it but I find it thrilling |

I don't like In Flames very much, but this song is just awesome in riff form. Quoted for truth. In Flames was good for their first few albums, then sold out and ruined everything. I'm listening to Papyrus Containing The Spell To Preserver Its Possesser Against Attacks From He Who Is In The Water -Nile. Great song from Nile's newest album. They've changed their sound a bit, but they make up for it with the clarity of the recording. |

Sting went and came down with the flu the day of the second show in Philadelphia, and that's the only show that's been postponed(I wanna say they canceled it now )

Avenged Sevenfold is crappy sellout metal. I would not even call it metal. I'm listening to The Pig Keeper's Daughter -Psyopus. Most tech band I know. Guitar is amazingly complex and so is the bass. Vocals are a little too high pitched, but make up for it with sheer energy. |
