Deathrider - Anthrax

Yeahhhhh!! Nothing like some rip-roarin' speed/thrash/death metal on a Tuesday afternoon! I've had a scene in a movie played out to this song in my mind for the longest time, if only I was a Hollywood director/producer...

This is a wake up song. If they ever need to wake me from a coma, use this song.

Tonto - Battles

After listening to this song 5 or 6 times, I think I finally understand it.

Maybe.

I need to listen to some Sunny Day Real Estate. It's on my incredibly long list of bands I need to start listening to.

Won't Be Long by The Hives

It's something new from them and I like it.

Slayer is one of the best metal band ever. I could listen to them endlessly.

Line Up by Elastica

Today I got a bunch of albums I should have gotten long ago. Elastica's self-titled is one of those; the rest were:

Psychocandy by The Jesus and Mary Chain
Slanted & Enchanted by Pavement
The Queen is Dead by The Smiths
The Stone Roses' self-titled
77 by Talking Heads

Yay.

Anyone that doesn't like this song has something wrong with their taste in music.

I have something wrong with my taste in music, then. Everything on Poodle Hat sucked, it had no redeeming qualities whatsoever. I was so glad that Straight Outta Lynwood was a major improvement.

Calling Old Friends - Defiance, Ohio

I missed listening to Defiance, Ohio. I tried to put my finger on it, but I gave it my whole arm.

Hysteria - Muse

Great song, great album, great band. And I'm very picky about my music.

It's my second listen through the album and it's pretty cool.

Spaceboy - Smashing Pumpkins

Billy Corgan actually wrote this song for Jesse, his little brother who had mental and physical challenges.

Kill Your Cats - The Arrogant Sons Of Bitches

The first fifteen seconds of this thirty second song is just awesome. Catchy, quick and powerful. The lyrics are great too:

I'm not your "friend".
I'm not your "pal".
I don't care very well for your misconception of what friendship should be.
So when I see you in the mall
don't talk to me at all.
Cause this is all that you deserve from me.
A 30-Second song where I almost didn't say Funk.
