Never Too Late - Three Days Grace

I don't know why, but I've listened to this song probably 30 times today.

Being Alone on Valentine's Day - Lemon Demon

I made an awesome "Holy crap It's Valentine's Day" playlist:

Being Alone on Valentine's Day - Lemon Demon (Man decides to try being lonely and sad on Valentine's Day)
Even Hitler Had a Girlfriend - Mr. T Experience (Man can't get a girlfriend even though the most horrible people in history have had loved ones)
Checkers Speech - Mr. T Experience (Man has girl, girl suddenly leaves man for some reason, man tries to get her back, she rejects man, man realizes that she was bad bananas for him, man grows up to be Nixon?)
Kristina She Don't Know I Exist - Streetlight Manifesto (Kalnoky has a crush on a girl, but is too much of a wuss to ask her out. He one day sees her with another man and gives up.)
Stupid Marriage - The Specials (Set in a court room, judge sentences man to five months in prison for smashing his ex's window. In between talking he sings about how he was walking home one day when he passed by her house and saw her having sex with another man.)
Pre-Ex-Girlfriend - Five Iron Frenzy (Song about how this guy's perfect girl is way out of this guy's league)

I've always thought that was a horrendously overrated song.

...And Justice For All by Metallica

If they are looking for a possible final track for the next Guitar Hero, this would be a good choice. This song is so difficult that Metallica did not play this live for 19 years.

1:30 to 2:10 = pure awesome. Actually, the entire song is pretty good, but I like that part especially.

Metallica should still make thrash metal. They're so boring now.

From what I have heard about the new album, they are going back to that. They are saying that it is going to be the "missing link" between ...And Justice For All and The Black Album.

Here is what Lars said about it.

Lars Ulrich wrote:
There's a lot of light and shade in these songs. There's heavy, fast, nutty stuff, and then there's some slowdowns and musical interludes. It's pretty different from 'St. Anger', and it's pretty different from the 'Load' stuff. This stuff is not the one-dimensional punch in the face that 'St. Anger' was. This is probably a little more like those couple of albums back there in the decade that begins with an '8.'

Sounds good to me.

I like it.

It is cool. They haven't done an album in four years and this causes the corners of my lips to droop into a frown.

"Kill 'Em All" was the only interesting Metallica record. Everything else is so overblown and pretentious. As you can probably tell, I don't have much of stomach for metal. That's something to keep in mind when reading my reviews.
