One of their best songs.

Rooster by Alice in Chains

I don't think Alice in Chains ever made a bad song.

@ BTG: On their albums, no, but some of the EPs they released are passable.

@ ian: Yes, you do. Streetlight is some of the best ska around. Unless you already have it, I'd say get Everything Goes Numb first. It's the best of their three.

Don't Wake The Baby - Jack Off Jill

God, this song is creepy. Then again, that statement can apply to most of JOJ's stuff.

I'm trying to get some friends to see them live with me in April.

After getting several bootlegs I can safely say that they're not that great live.

Don't Let's Start by They Might Be Giants

I'm not a huge fan like several members here, but I have two of their albums; one of which I like (Self-titled) and one I think sucks (Apollo 18).

Oh well. It's only $12 and I think they're touring with the Aquabats.

Awesome.

Eleanor Put Your Boots On by Franz Ferdinand

Even though You Could Have it So Much Better is generally a letdown as compared to their first record, this track saves it from complete mediocrity.

Apollo 18 is easily their worst adult album, I'd say. I'd recommend either John Henry or The Else.

Melt - theSTART

Yeah. Unfortunately, both the albums you have now are relatively mediocre as far as TMBG goes.

Montana - John Linnell

This song makes no sense but I love it anyway.

Awesome.
I'm about .0001% sure about the Aquabats, though. It's just something a friend told me.

Beastie Boys - Puttin' Shame in Your Game

I'm the king of Boggle
There is none higher
I get eleven points
Off the word "quagmire"

EDIT:
My friend was wrong.

Easily the creepiest song I have ever heard, but it is also one of the best songs I have ever heard.

I don't really see what makes their first album mediocre, it's as bizarre and enjoyable as I was hoping it would be before purchasing it. On Apollo 18 I like the fingertips idea, but the actual meat of the CD isn't too great.

Well, I said relatively mediocre. It's a good album, but it's not their best by any stretch of the imagination.

Christian hair metal is not headbanging music.

Wrong, get Flood.

Some people don't like this band, and they have titled the band Gaylines.

The Arrogant Sons of Bitches - Karma Police

I don't care what Mike says, this album rules. I have yet to hear Three Cheers for Disappointment, though.

I didn't say it was bad, I just said it wasn't their best. I'll zip Three Cheers for you, so you can hear some good ol' ASOB.

Here's the album, finally.

I'm listening to ZAK.FM, kind of like a radio station. It's full of neat stuff I normally don't listen to.
