Nothing by Bomb the Music Industry, or Defiance, Ohio comes to mind when you think of "best free album"? Goodbye Cool World, and The Great Depression (by each band respectively) are both high quality, free, and offer unique sounds I can guarantee you've never heard before.

Bikes and Bridges - Defiance, Ohio

Superchrist - The Smashing Pumpkins

I really like this song, but the vidya' isn't that great. Is it just me or have the Pumpkins failed at music videos as of late? They used to make the greatest video's ever. 1979 and Tonight, Tonight are prime examples.

Very interesting vocals, and a good prog metal instrumental sound.

The Planet Smashers have better songs than Raise Your Glass. Ska Skank radio, to me, is generally uninteresting and nothing special.

Let's Face It by The Mighty Mighty Bosstones

My second or third favorite ska album ever.

MMPPP: Super Love Songs!

It's not my favorite Mermaid Melody song because of the horns, but it's still nice and sounds like something you'd hear from a great musical.

Runaway- Linkin Park

Good song, lots of guitar and just the right amount of screaminess.

This song is yet to be released. It's on their upcoming album that's coming out this month.

Chop Suey - System of a Down

A great song, a lot of people don't believe me when I tell them it's about Jesus.

Now it's Infra-red - Placebo

EDIT: I just remembered something about this song. I was singing it to myself once, the part that goes: "someone call the ambulance, there's gonna be an accident".

About 10 minutes later some guy fell off a building site that was only a few meters away from where I had been the whole time. Freaky.

I must say I do enjoy me some tool.

Right now I'm just listening to the radio and this is what just came on:

Sugar - System of a Down

I have Sirius Satellite in case you're wondering why that was on the radio. I like the beginning of this song, but then they have to bust in with the language. Anyone got a clean version of this song?

Flogging Molly:Tobacco Island

Three words: BEST SONG EVER!!

Of course, I guess I'm a little biased. ;)

It's this awesome Irish shanty punk song that goes off into two minutes of guitar music after the lyrics have ended, and makes you wanna pump your fist in the air. You don't have to have Irish blood to love the song or band. Dave, Bridget, and Bob own my soul.
