At first I thought her voice was too high-pitched, but now I love the song. It's cute and sweet as ice cream.

James K. Polk - They Might Be Giants

For about six months or even more I barely listened to them at all, and I think I'm finally starting to get into them again.

Whether this is a good thing or a bad one is entirely based upon your own private judgment.

TMBG would be good if John Flansburg(h?) would sing all of the songs. Linnel's voice annoys me.

Lover in the Snow by Rivers Cuomo

Just got his solo album. If you like Weezer you should definitely buy it. Since the majority of the album was recorded in the nineties, it all sounds more like their early work.

Psycho - Puddle of Mudd

I like two songs by this group. This one, and I can't even think of the name of the other one, but this song is awesome!

Tool - Aenima

Once again, great song. I need to find more bands like Tool, can anyone suggest some?

It's alternative rock with very political lyrics, there's a lot of swearing in some songs, but that's just to get the point across. I hate pointless swearing, like in rap songs.
Yeah, so I want more music like that.

Nice choice in song! I'm a big fan of Tool myself.

If you're looking for other bands like Tool I'd suggest A Perfect Circle (Maynard's other band), Isis, Mastodon, King Crimson (one of the band's main influences), Puscifer (another side project of Maynard's), Melvins, Meshuggah, etc. That's about it though, not many bands out there can stand up to Tool, I'm not gonna lie. If you're into political lyrics I could always point you in the direction of Rage Against the Machine, but their style of rock is influenced heavily by hip-hop and rap.

Anyways, on the play now is...

Blood Brothers - Papa Roach

Oh man, I forgot about how friggin' good this song is. Rock fueled by hate! Yeah! Gotta love it!

^I second Isis and King Crimson. Speaking of which...

Elephant Talk - King Crimson

Way better then Tony Levin's solo version, IMO. It doesn't have the keyboard solo though, which is kind of disappointing. Still, you can't beat Robert Fripp on guitar. Dude was way ahead of his time with unorthodox guitar techniques.

Fairytale of New York by The Pogues

It's extremely upsetting that everyone I've mentioned them to doesn't know who they are.

For real? The Pogues are awesome. I haven't listened to them in a while though.

Bowling Alley - Lemon Demon

Oh, the randomness.

I'm listening to The Raconteur's new album Consolers of the Lonely. It's pretty great... if you like The White Stripes or The Raconteurs first album you'll like this one. In fact, The Raconteurs first album < Consolers of the Lonely.

Thrice's first two volumes of The Alchemy Index.

I'm not really sure what to think of it. There's definitely something about it I like, but I can't figure out what it is. But it goes to show us how far this band has come.

Their Myspace has some of their songs from said album.
