The Black Album rules no matter what the "purists" say.Metallica - Ride the Lightning If their next album is collectively at least half as good as this song, I'll be happy. |

I'm But a Wave To... - Cynic As mentioned before, I would love Cynic if it weren't for the growly vocals. Still, they don't use them too often, and they're an excellent band otherwise, so I don't mind it thatmuch. |

Discipline - King Crimson Great song. This is KC doing what they do best: complex and interlocking melodies. Beyond the Grave wrote: YYZ by Rush My favorite Rush song. Why? Because Geddy Lee doesn't sing. Hey, Geddy isn't that bad. Granted, his voice can be really high at times, but he's not as annoying as, say, Cedric Zavela from The Mars Volta. |

Listening to the latest album by The Eagles titled Long Road Out Of Eden. They've got a few songs on here that you instantly love when you hear them. The other songs seemed kinda blah at first, like they were just trying to fill in the gaps, but it's really starting to grow in me. It's making me think that maybe I was too hasty to judge. |

Raining Blood by Slayer Just an unbelievably good song. The riffs are some of the sickest that I have ever heard. Whenever I listen to Slayer I always feel like the gates of Hell have opened and the all of Satan's creatures are coming out. |

Circle of Servants Bodies - Saviours Some grade A heavy thrash metal from a band that has yet to be fully recognized. Oh man, it's songs like these that make me wanna buy a big ol' beast of a diesel fueled truck and jam it down the highway ramming into anything that comes in my way. Srsly. |

Liquid Tension Experiment--Universal Mind This song is Funk awesome. It really shows off what these guys can do, and it's nothing short of brilliant. Oh, and the end of the song makes me want to skip around. |

Tommy The Cat - Primus Probably Primus' best song, IMO. Bit weak at the beginning, but once it picks up it's amazing.
