Uh because it's an awesome song.

Whistling in the Dark - TMBG

Actually, most of Flood sorta gets on my nerves now.

Dead's not that good, but Letterbox, Hearing Aid, and the obvious Birdhouse, are all awesome songs off of that album. I dunno, TMBG is very inconsistent with their music.

This would be why I'm not a fan. If they could put some more time into each album and made sure that all of the songs are good, not just most or some, I'd be interested. The only full album I own by them is their first.

Currently listening to Christmas music on Pandora. It's just nice back round noise

Do you know any band where all the songs are good?

I'm listening to Clear Signal From Cairo by the Fiery Furnaces. Noisy fun.

Coach Z and Peacey P featuring Peacey P featuring Tenerence Love featuring Peacey P, "Rap Song". I think what I like about TBC's music is that when they make joke songs they don't skimp on the listenability. Been doing a lot of driving to Strong Bad Sings And Other Type Hits lately. We're long-overdue for another CD if y'ask me

Here Come the Bombs - Ima Robot

I can't think of a genre for Ima Robot. It's like, alternative with a lot of random noises and bass.

Yay! Someone who sees that Kanye West is decent rap!

Ugh, I thought Letterbox and Hearing Aid were awful. I liked every other song on that album except for Dead and Road Movie to Berlin, too.

Flood was a great album. Apparently a lot of their other albums are really serious and dark, which is really not what I'm looking for in them.

Against Me! - We Did It All for Don

This is a definite choice for any roadtrip mixtape.

I went thought a TMBG phase about a year ago and now I could kind of care less about them.

Cherub Rock - Smashing Pumpkins

As well as being a good song on Guitar Hero, I heard this song a lot growing up. It's really good.

Because of that, I'm listening to 1979. Good song.

This Is My Fist - Beer For Breakfast

This cover might just be better than the original.

Fired - Ben Folds

One of the best piano solos I've heard from Ben.

Zak and Sara - Ben Folds

This song really doesn't make any sense to me but oh, I love it so.

No, but I've listened to albums that I've liked every song. A lot of albums like that, in fact. TMBG has yet to make an album that I like every song on.

It's okay. I like the lyrics, but that's about it.

Uncle Walter - Ben Folds Five

Yeah, in case you hadn't taken a clue yet, I have absolutely no variety at all when in comes to music. I'll listen to an album 85 times in a month without listening to anything else. I did that with all my Ben Folds/Folds Five stuff this month. I haven't listened to anything else since early, early November.
But that's just the way I work. I'm a streaky listener.

Can't Help Falling In Love - Original Broadway cast recording from All Shook Up

It gets pretty good after the key-change, when the entire cast gets going on the "take my hand, take my whole life too" part.

Crack rocksteady is always silly.

Something's Wrong At The Playground - Mad Caddies

I love songs that have a galloping beat in them.

They really aren't serious or dark. That's just what fans desperate to find some "deeper meaning" in them make up because quirky indie rock is Serious Business.

Anyway.

Over my Head (Cable Car) - The Fray
