I doubt you guys are watching the Rush and the Soul on ESPN2, but if you're not, you just missed the 2nd best kick return in Arena Football history.

Mike Brown took it off the iron, broke 5 tackles, made a few ridiculous cuts, and had a 54-yard kick return touchdown.

That's what Arena Football is about.

EDIT: since when is Shedrick Bonner on the Rush?

EDIT2: Damian Harrell is on the Rush now too? Geez, they have good management if they're picking up players like Bonner and Harrell.

sigh.

I meant that you dropped the ball on reminding Ace the awful truth about his 18-1 team, not that you were a Patriots fan or anything like that.

I'm fine with a little back and forth razzing, but seriously, "saved football"?

My pedestal is going to be a nice place to be for at least the next year.

Why would it have been a terrible, ruinous, experience had the Patriots won? 19-0 would have been a once-in-a-lifetime achievement and would have been great to see. Anyone who wanted the Giants to win (who was NOT a Giants fan) was just bitter.

Hell, if I was just a fan of the sport, and my team (Pats) was out, and, say, Dallas was 18-0 heading into the Super Bowl, I'd root for them.

Next year, I face an unenviable task.
Brian Brohm has been drafted by the Packers.

I hate Louisville with a passion.
I also love the Packers with the same passion.

Hmmm...
Maybe they'll trade him.

Also, what is it with the Giants and Kentucky QB's?
First, J-Lo, now Woodson.

I wouldn't.

I'm happy that the Giants finally addressed the one hole in their defense: DBs. The best front seven in football can't sack the QB on every play.

Since there isn't an NFL team in Utah, I'm thinking about choosing a team to be a fan of. I don't want to choose one that's really successful right now (Patriots, Giants, Colts). Maybe the Cardinals. Close geographically to home.

I think the closest team to you is the Broncos.

YES!

I'm glad we can finally tell the football retards to shut the Funk up, tell them they're wrong, and be able to back our crap up now.

Ok, so I know football season ends in February and blah blah blah blah blah blah....

But just...read this:

HAGLUND (5-8, 175, Central Oklahoma) was selected the 2008 Kicker of the Year as voted by AFL head coaches, players, fans, and the Arena Football League Writers Association, the League announced today.

Haglund, who earned All-Arena First Team honors last week, led all kickers in scoring (179 points) while connecting on 21-of-25 (84.0 percent) field goal attempts and converting 116-of-124 extra-point attempts. He also registered 26 touchbacks and recorded 16.0 tackles.

The 16 tackles are just amazing.

These stats are ridiculous, and to think that they left out the fact that he's thrown a touchdown pass.

StrongRad I don't know how you have not posted here recently.

I'd like to hear your thoughts on the Brett Favre shenanigans.
