Oh Chargers...
I've been calling 8-8 since the schedules were announced.

I gotta tell you, the Packers have 2 more wins than I thought they'd have by this point.
This are going to be good season.

The Giants are killing McNabb. He's tasted turf 5 times tonight. One more an the G-Men will tie an NFL record for sacks in a game.

But getting 5 sacks against the Eagles' O-Line is like beating Notre Dame or Duke (Well, their football team, anyway).

So this kid gets taken away from his parents because they beat him severely. The kid gets put into a foster home. The foster parents also abuse him. The little boy then gets sent to another foster home. Those parents also abuse him.
The kid tells the judge that he's sick of being put in abusive situations and that he knows people will abuse him as soon as he meets him. He goes on to tell the judge he knows of someone that will not abuse him. The judge decides to give the kid the benefit of the doubt and asks him who he wants to be placed with. The kid responds "The St. Louis Rams". The judge, obviously puzzled, asks why. The kid says "They can't beat anybody!".

HI-YO!

The Giants just stopped the Eagles on 4&18 with a forced fumble and now it's clock chomping time.

Losing to KC is neigh inexcusable...

It was certainly a Sunday of upsets...KC beats SD, Detroit beats Chi-town, Cleveland beats Baltimore (that's it, I'm done using Baltimore's D), lowly Buffalo beat the Jets (LOL WUT), and Arizona beats the Steelers by a touchdown.

If I'm winning my fantasy game right now, it's a lock. Brady hasn't even played yet and he's my best player. Ronnie Brown's also phenomenal despite being on Miami. He's their only rusher.

Here's the league as of 1128 PM tonight.

EDIT: Whoops. Linked the wrong pic. Here's the right one.

Not as bad as Rammy's, though. ;)

I also predict a ton more points from Brady tomorrow. Cinci's D is God awful.

As long as they go to Randy Moss.

In my other league, I'm playing a VERY close game (it would be over if I hadn't stupidly played Miami's D) with a guy that's playing Ocho Cinco tomorrow night. With Rudi probably not going to play, Cincy's offense will have to go to the air.
That means Chad Johnson will get a lot of passes thrown his way.
Let's hope he drops them all.

I don't think so. They've got tons of other competent weapons, like Welker. Moss is just for the long bombs.

I actually heard Cinci isn't going to opt for the air, but rather rely on its other backs. It's kind of fortunate Rudi isn't playing, I wouldn't want to need him for my team while he's playing the Pats.

Playing in the air might be a bad idea against the Pats, but then again I guess trying to run it isn't a good idea either (just ask LT).

Grah...I'm actually participating in this, and I'm still getting beat.

Oh, and Rad? That Rams story was freaking hilarious.

BTG, you realize a big part of your low score this week is that you played Jackson, right?

Stupid Rivers... 2 points? The Chargers suck.

Well I had no alternative, my other running, Maurice Jones-Drew, had a bye week.

My only hope is that Palmer has a game like he did in Week 2. All you've got are 3 WR from NE and Wide outs have a tendency to be unreliable. I also advise dumping one or two of them, because when NE has a bye week you will be screwed.

Here's hoping that the Bengals have a bad week on offense.

Here's how things are going in my other league.
Image

I'm Los Crushinatos (It's a play on Crushinators. I've used a play on that name since this league began 7 years ago. Yes, it's a Futurama reference).

I've dumped Miami's D. Tennessee was on a bye week. I've picked up Detroit (They were the best defense available).

I should have played Dallas Clark, but he was a game-time decision, and he didn't play til 4. Todd Heap played at 1. If I would have played Clark and they decided NOT to start him, I would have been out of luck.

Had I played him, I wouldn't be worrying about Ocho Cinco outperforming Randy Moss.

I'm hoping for the exact opposite.

Bengals had an ok week on offense.

Brady and Moss were pure domination as usual.

And you scoffed when I took Brady first round.

We only scoffed because it was predictable.

Exactly. Doesn't matter if it's predictable if it pays off. LT going first was more predictable, and look what happened with that. Also I figured you were going to take Eli Manning.

Besides, it's not like my roster is all New England this year. That's Lahi's roster.

I waited on taking him. I took a USC player over Eli. I feel dirty.

Just for a laugh, did anyone pick up Sav Rocca (Eagles punter)?

You'd win respect in my book.

Wildcats Versus Gamecocks.

Can Kentucky finally beat Spurrier?
God, I hope so.

Looks like it's going to be a sloppy game.

Doesn't look like Woodson's going to throw the ball much. That's a pity, too. I got my H3ISMAN shirt today, too.

Edit: OH MY GOD, IT'S DOUG FLUTIE!!!

We don't count punters.

If Notre Dame can play like they did in the first half against MSU and in the second half against Purdue, they could beat UCLA. Is it going to happen? Not likely.

Those are some good bets, for reals.

Also, OK, Kentucky, you can make the comeback victory now.

Edit: I hate South Carolina now. I'm not going to stay up for the rest of this crap. Here's hoping I miss a great comeback.

Oh well, this'll just make the thumping of LSU next weekend in Lexington so much sweeter.

Been smoking trees, lately? I don't see UK beating the #1 team in the land.
