[College football]Hey, Oklahoma beat Texas. I'm not too surprised, since Texas doesn't have as good a team this year as before. [/college football] |

I don't take kindly to being called "boy". What's next? You all going to hang a noose from my balcony? LOL, Jena 6. I still say Kentucky can beat LSU. Not so sure they WILL, but they CAN. Also, Woodson will drop a train on 'em if he can keep from throwing INTs. |

Wow... LSU just took the lead. Please, don't let Tebow drive the field. |

Yesterday was a bad day to be a So Cal team. Stanford upset USC in the Coliseum and Notre Dame beat UCLA 20-6 in Pasadena. LSU beat Florida. I would be surprised if LSU gets all the first place votes in next week's polls. I wrote: If Notre Dame can play like they did in the first half against MSU and in the second half against Purdue, they could beat UCLA. Is it going to happen? Not likely. I guess it was very likely.Lahi wrote: Take heart, BTG. You'll only have to wait until November to see a Fighting Irish win. *Puts Lahi's words on a spoon*
EAT'EM, PUNK! I've gotta cherish this win because ND might not get another on until November. |

Yes. I feel a revival for my fanboyism of the Harbaugh family coming soon. I thought Jim was awesome when he played for the Colts. Then, his dad coached Western Kentucky to a national championship when I was there (and I got to ride a goalpost out of the stadium), now Jim has beaten USC. USC will get half of the #1 votes, though. Just because they are USC. The people that run the polls are probably looking at the tapes to look for every little time USC got a less than favorable call. By the end of the day, the media will have USC sitting so high, they'll have a negative rank. If you can't tell, I don't like USC. |

He's your crow. May I suggest Mashed Potatoes for a side dish? You know? West Virginia beat Syracuse 55-14. That's 14 more points that I thought that Syracuse could score. |

Does WV play Louisville in Morgantown or Louisville this year? |

My weekend just got better. The Giants reminded the Jets of whose stadium they are playing in. Hey Lahi, ND did something BYU couldn't do: Beat UCLA at the Rose Bowl. |

WEeeeeee!!!! IT'S TIME FOR FOOTBALL. How many times do you think John Madden will say "Brett Favre" tonight? More or less than when he's not covering Packers games? I, for one, think tonight would be a horrible night to play the John Madden Drinking Game. |

So the Giants come back and crush the Jets, and Miami also loses in a comeback. And I'm going to go ahead and assume the Cowboys will beat the Bills. Hah, the AFC East is so terrible...it's not even a contest for the Division winner. You've got the Pats (5-0)...then everyone else (1-4 or worse). The four best teams in the NFL: Pats and Indy in the AFC, and the Cowboys and Green Bay in the NFC. |

BTG, it looks like you were right to not start the Bears D today. A team that averages 53 rushing yards per game just put up 64 rushing yards on their first drive against the Bears. |

You're watching one of the greatest rivalries ever. Also, you're about to see Brett Favre chokeslam his coach. |

Oooooooouuuuuuuch. Broncos haven't lost this badly since 1966. Someone call John Elway to stop coaching his son at Cherry Creek High School and come back to Invesco Field. |

No. I'm not worried. Sure, the Packers are down 7, and there's only 2 minutes left, but you gotta remember, Favre has the ball. Whether it's an INT that's returned for a TD or he throws a TD to Driver, someone's gonna score. I still think they got screwed out of a time out there. McCarthy won the challenge. He challenged the spot of the ball. Granted, it was done because he was disputing the first down, BUT the challenge was the spot of the ball. The refs changed the decisions on the field, so he didn't lose the challenge (and shouldn't lose the timeout). EDIT: This is horrible clock management. I hate Charles Tillman (and think he's a great defensive player). EDITX2: This sucks. Oh well. 4-1. That's better than a lot of the teams in the NFL. There's plenty of football to play, too. You can't win them all, and this is one of the ones they lost. *pouts* Oh well. Next week. Next week. |

There are a few things you never do and one is: Never taunt and injured player, especially one that isn't moving. I hope he gets a few games to think about that. |

Eh, I don't see what the big deal was. It's not like Green could understand him. Seriously, though, that was probably uncalled for. However, the taunting happened so soon after the hit that it was probably hard to tell whether Green was hurt or just knocked down. As for the injury, Green probably shouldn't have dropped the low block. Johnson did not cause the injury. |

Well when a guy is just not moving after a hit it's safe to say that he's not well.I mean, I've seen guys take hits, be motionless for a couple seconds, then pop back up like a jack-in-the-box. The taunting was pretty fast after the hit. I'm not saying it was right, though. Don't taunt other players. If you're better than them, show them. |
