BC lost...to friggin' Maryland. *sigh* Well, see, it's a good thing I don't follow college football religiously because I'd be pretty depressed right now if I was hardcore about it. I really wish it wasn't the Pats' bye week. |

I wish I could go tomorrow night. But then I remember how slummy Qualcomm is. Now I'm fine watching it on TV. Sadly, teams have figured out that once you shut down LT and Gates, we have NOTHING. Just look at last week. |

Sometimes, it's good to be Brett Favre... Anyone see that last TD pass? It skipped through the hands of 2 Minnesota players and into the hands of one of his receivers. Scary thing is, I think he meant to do that. |

Man, I'm so upset at Cleveland right now. They easily could of beat the Steelers is they wouldn't have tarded out in the 4th quarter. |

If LA gets a team they should be called The Classics. Team colors would be all cowboy era sepia tone. Who else is with me? |

LA's had 2 NFL teams and couldn't hold on to either of them. |

You knew the Raiders were going to move back to Oakland and the Rams were about five years away from putting up something worth watching when they moved. The problem you have in LA is that you have to deal with USC. USC is the only college capable of running an NFL team out of town.

Anyone have Shane Graham on their team? He scored all of the points in the Bengals/Ravens games. Seriously, 7 field goals is just crazy. |

Boy, BTG, Notre Dame has lost to Air Force and Navy in the season for the first time since.... I have no idea when. What's your take on Weiss? BYU beat TCU on Thursday. They've won five straight games overall and 13 straight conference games. Woot. |

ND has the best recruiting class in the nation coming in next year(BTW BYU is #54) and not a single one of those recruits has thought about going anywhere but Notre Dame. There is no where to go but up from here. Notre Dame will get better. I will bet my life on that. Next year they will win at least 6 and I say in two years they will be a team that no one will want to face.

Yeah, I watched that game. It was a great emotional battery-charger for me. You guys played a great game, we just... played better. In the CLUTCH. Still, that touchdown on the kickoff return by Cribbs was amazing. I have no clue how he stayed in bounds. Anyway, we're 7-2. Which is good. |

The Steelers vs Browns game was epic. So glad that the Steelers won, I almost gave up. |

Well, Cowboys once again got the best of the G-men. By the way, Jacobs on the Giants is a really good actor. Someone on the Cowboys taps him on the shoulder, and he goes flying 5 yards in the air. Someone give that man an Oscar! |

Ooh, recruiting smack. Nice. You're aware of the many ND football players who have transferred in the past few weeks, right? |

A lot of the players that are transferring are either unhappy for losing their starting positions because they couldn't perform well enough to keep their spot or they just couldn't hack it(athletically or academically) at Notre Dame. Charlie Weis has basically setup Parcells/Belichek style program: High on discipline and performance. If you can't perform up to par, they will find someone who will.

Upset because Houston had a bye week today. But they play New Orleans. That should be an easy passing game for Schaub. My prediction: 24-7 Houston. Schaub throws for 254 yards and 2 touchdowns, Mathis scores on a kick return. |

An interesting spin. The theory I've most often heard is "rats fleeing a sinking ship." Quote: Charlie Weis has basically setup Parcells/Belichek style program: High on discipline and performance. Oh yes, because the current starters for ND are "performing up to par" so well.

Well one of the transfers is going from 1-9 ND to 1-10 Minnesota. I don't think that's much of an improvment. I still think Notre Dame would have been much better off if Darius Walker stayed for his Senior year. AbuGrape45 wrote: I was really hoping to see Boston College in the National Championship this year. Losing to Maryland's not gonna help with that cause. BC was eliminated from title contention when they lost to Florida State. The only teams one loss teams that can get back into title contention are the ones that lose close games early in the year(LSU and Oregon).

Oh wow, Lahi got crushed by fellobo. Huge underproduction by his team. Actually, I really hope that the standings end up me first, Stu and Lahi as second and third, and someone else fourth. That way, either Stu or Lahi will knock the other one out before they get to me (pending I win my game, too). Also: LET'S GO SEATTLE YEAH |
