Eh, I didn't really like Fanboys after the art change. It just seemed a little too... Anime-ish for those characters.

I feel horrible, but I lol'd. I'm not sure where the crap Kurtz is going with this storyline...

BTW, has anyone read the book "Making Webcomics" yet? It's pretty good. It's nice to hear about webcomics from people who actually have experience in making them. It has stuff from Kris Straub (Checkboard Nightmare, Starslip Crisis), Scott Kurtz (PvP), Brad Guigar (Evil Inc.), and Dave Kellet (um...Sheldon, I think? I've never read much of his stuff). Check it out sometime.

Argh! I've been trying to get that out of my library but I can't get my hands on it! I read Understanding Comics some time last year, and I just recently discovered Reinventing Comics and am almost done with that one. They're all such great reads. Although what's hilarious is to go to McCloud's website and revel in its Web 1.0ness. Also, while I like the idea of Infinite Canvas, his staircase-shaped comics make me want to shoot myself. Wayyyy too much sidescrolling.

The book you're thinking of is probably Making Comics, (link) which was by Scott McCloud, and is also pretty good.

Most of the webcomics I regularly read have been posted (TFD, Dinosaur Comics, Thinkin' Lincoln, xkcd, Dr. Mcninja, Horribleville, etc.)

I see no one's linked to Scary Go Round or Tall Comics. For shame.
