Penny Arcade
Girly
Horribleville

There are good webcomics, despite what most people believe. Here are three perfectly good examples - my favorites.

I generally don't read webcomics. I don't follow any, and mostly only read them because they're linked to all over the place.

Of those three, I've read a lot of Penny Arcade, and some of the strips are better than others, but overall it's cool.

Penny Arcade sucks, VG Cats sucks, and Cyanide and Happiness sucks.

The only thing that is awesome is the Perry Bible Fellowship.

Also, I like the following webcomics:

Questionable Content (rusty will be ticked that i mentioned this strip, which he considers bad, just after praising his taste in webcomics, but whatever)

Bob the Angry Flower

Shortpacked!

Sorry, all you COOL KIDS, but I like xkcd.

F@NBOY$ used to be good (although a bit too video-game-comicky), but after Scott Dewitt, the author, found out how much Something Awful despised it, he seems to have lost confidence and the comic is at kind of a low point now. Hopefully he'll soon be able to sort things out.

Minus is a good one.

Finally, we have rice boy, which is pretty much the coolest webcomic I've heard of in quite a while.

Luckily, with this sabbatical that he's taking, he'll return to past glory.

Hockey Zombie is pretty good, but sometimes it seems like there's a gaping hole where the punchline should be. Either that or I just don't get it. Most often the latter.

Thinkin' Lincoln is godly.

I read wayyy too many. I reserve the right to call any of them nsfw, because I don't remember:

The Book of Biff makes me lol.

F@nboy$ is always a classic, although krudman's on his annoying break.

Often an unpopular choice, but Megatokyo. Got introduced to it last year and I liked it's gaming start and the amount of ninjas, I just want to know how it ends.

Slackerz. Other webcomics don't even COMPARE.

Extra Life. I like it, and I like the guy who does them.

Anachronism, done by our very own to_t3h_m00n :) . This is made even better by the fact that Sean goes to my college.

Dresdencodak. It's... peculiar. Also smart. At least they do their babble correctly, if anything.

Rice Boy. It's so surreal and compelling. I like this one so much.

I adore Minus, but also the Socks and the other little projects that guy does.

Very little can compete with the sheer amazingness of Rob and Elliot.

Joe Loves Crappy Movies. What better way to get movie reviews than in comic form?

By the same guy, we have Turtle versus Bunny. It's the traditional race, but different, and more violent-ish.

Deuling Analogs. Because nothing else updates on Tuesdays and I get bored.

Digital Unrest. It's a clone of the above and for the same reasons of tuesday boredom.

Unbeknownst to most of the people here, xkcd is one of the best comics ever. You just need to be a cs person to get it.

Toothpaste for Dinner. Eh, just because.

Dr. McNinja is one I've just started recently.

Dinosaur comics. Also just because.

Over at Transmission X I like to check out Kukuburi on Tuesdays, Abonimable on Wednesdays, and Princess Planet on Sundays.

Lackadaisy. I get a pain in my gut reading this because I just think of furries the whole time, but darn it if the art's not amazing and the storytelling is superb as well -_-"

While not a webcomic per say, but I also check out the boys down at Roosterteeth for the comic they have about life at the office. Sometimes nsfw.

*blink blink* I think that's all of them. Hehe, I justify reading this many by the fact they don't all update daily and I don't get a newspaper to read their comics, so I take the free alternative instead. It also makes a nice after-class routine, checking the daily updates, digg, and cracked.

I know, isn't it great? I feel like half the time the guy's just showing off his own vocabulary. Oh, and we seem to read a lot of the same, Einoo =0

* = Possibly NSFW

-------------------------------------------

Schlock Mercenary(Miltary sci-fi epic with a dash of humor for good measure)
Irregular Webcomic (Legos! Also occasional math humor I don't understand!)
Rice Boy (surreal and just generally awesome)
Order of the Stick and Erfworld (used to be just lame RPG humor, but they're branched out recently)
8-Bit Theater*(the world's only decent sprite comic)
PvP (I guess it's supposed to be a gaming comic, but it covers pretty much everything BUT gaming)
Starslip Crisis(sci-fi. Kris Straub is awesome)
Dr. McNinja (needs no introduction)
The Comics Curmudgeon* (not a comic per se, but a great commentary site)
The Superest (two artists try to constantly one-up each other by drawing superheroes that counter each other's powers. Not really a comic but still funny)
Evil Inc. (wacky supervillain antics, great art, and an actual story)
Good Ship Chronicles* (a funny and occasionally depressing comic about a reality show in the future)
Thinkin' Lincoln(THINKIN' FRIKKIN' LINCOLN)
Beaver and Steve (manages to be wacky without crossing over into LOLOLO RANDUM territory, which is a rare feat)

I don't read too many comics. I used to read Life of Wily way back when sprite comics were relatively new, and I read VG Cats sometimes nowadays. I should really get into more series, but I never really latch onto one.

Can I just take this time to say that Slackers sucks?

Every one of the comics is a three-paragraph rant, which usually goes no where and proves nothing, occasionally accompanied by stick figure art.

The only comic of that I approve of is the Sonic one.

Legorobot is godly as well. Too inappropriate to link to though.

Two of my favourites, though the Comics Curmudgeon is a blog about newspaper comics and might not count as being webcomic related. I also enjoy This Week In Milford, a similar blog based solely on Gil Thorp. I had to stop going through the archives because I was laughing so hard I couldn't breathe, but that's probably because I seem to like art nitpicks a lot.

I also like Holy Bibble. It's the Bible, parodied and done in webcomic form. I think it's pretty good.

And xkcd. Can't forget xkcd. I like this comic in particular, though I've never played Rock Band. It's just amazing how many things some people failed to realise are done for fun or for a hobby, not because the person doing them is pathetic/trying to be cool. Xkcd: The comic that understands you! Well, me.

Stopped liking VGcats after he sold out. One day he wrote a rant on basically why he thought Kingdom Hearts 2 was the worst game ever, then the next day he removed it, and a few ads for Kingdom Hearts 2 Players guide showed up for awhile.

And then he made This. A Comic without a joke, with an unrelated character from an unrelated company speaking. Whut.

Eh, I like VG Cats. A little.
The Sims parody was the funniest, as well as the Sonic one. Only 'cause I like both franchises.

I also like There's Something About Tails and inSONICnia (both on The Mystical Forest Zone, both language= very yes).

I agree there. I just like the art style mainly. And it's furries. I am an anthro arteest myself so I couldn't help but applaud Scott's talent. Er, sorta.

My art looks like it was done by a 2 years old boy. :-(
