the only way i knew about him was code monkeys.....and they were schedueling him to do another episode with him when ever the heck season 2 (if its not cancelled already) comes out. yeah, its weird how you only know someone via an animated tv show.

That was my reaction when I saw that comic as well. I was going to play the Hunt For Gary Gygex Tributes game, but then I decided it would be a bit disrespectful.

Yes, it is sad the more famous co-creator of D&D is dead. However we all must passover sometime...

I never got too much into D&D, but I always respected the man, partly because I knew that if I ever did play D&D, I'd become obsessed, and partly because I know every fantasy game I ever played (Magic the gathering, Oblivion), was influenced by him somehow.

Also, I love that one futurama episode he's in.
