I love playing the drums but I don't have a drum set so I'm really happy whenever I get a chance to. (Guitar Center, friend's house, band room when band teacher's not there, etc.)

Celebrating happiness in its little forms is a joy within itself. Teenage pretentiousness of mine put to the side for a while, here are a few little joys of mine:
- When one of my favourite songs comes up on shuffle.
- Being with my friends in the disused part of the English corridor, chatting about nothing in particular, and I'm reading, while they're playing catch with a rounders ball/baseball they got from a builder when the temporary classrooms were being put up.
- Getting let out of school a few minutes early after taking an exam.
- When Harry, Max, Lewis and/or Molly B. aren't in. I can go through the day without those looks and insults.
- When I get a book I really enjoy.
- Winning a really tough part of a videogame.
- The smell of an old book from the nearby charity shop.
- When my friend who moved to Canada e-mails me.

I finally beat Luigi's Purple coins today. Getting that last star in Mario games (64, Sunshine, Galaxy) feels so good...

I found like a 32 pack of mini cinnamon rolls already baked and with the frosting on them at Sam's Club and they are the best thing ever.

One of my little joys is just lying in a bed, not sleeping.
