I remember connecting to the internet at 1200 baud, and pretending to be a 17 year old and chatting to local people... when I was 7.

And good Saturday morning cartoons.

And...

Replaced by DVDs and video games, I suppose.

The 90s. A lot of things were corny, and video games were simpler, albeit much rougher around the edges. Products during this time were great, as they tried to incorporate computers and other "modern technology" with simpler devices. Plus, the commercials were godly.

That is where most of my nostalgia branches to.

I feel you on that. The early 90s were the prime of-- hey, wait a second... your profile says you're 15.

I am. My 90s nostalgic phase is basically 1994 to 1999.

Yes, I can remember stuff from when I was two.

Does anyone remember UHF television? When we had to tune the TV with a dial like a radio? Not that I miss it, but... I remember.

Pajama Sam. The Brave Little Toaster. Sim City 2000. The Simpsons seasons 3-8. "All Star" by Smash Mouth (hated it when it came out, now I like it). The Emperor's New Groove. Mac OS 9. Windows 95.

I could go on.

It was sad when you realized that nothing ever changes, wasn't it?

I turned twelve in 2000. I think the Spice Girls were still popular then, weren't they?

There was nothing cool about Y2K.

Except that it was hilarious.
