Post all your favorite news stories from America's finest news source The Onion.

My favorites:
Tennessee Legislature Divided Over Ford-Chevy Issue
Gaywads, Dorkwads Sign Historic Wad Accord
Heartbreaking Country Ballad Paralyzes Trucking Industry

Also, beware of language and occasional nudity when browsing The Onion website.

I don't know why, but the first Onion article that comes to mind is always
Foppish Dandy Disregards Local Constabulary

And I always remember the contrast between
Who Wants To Eat A Meal? and
Nation Fills Up On Bread

And these Point/Counterpoints on abortion, taken together, always seemed to indicate that The Onion is the real fair and balanced news source:
Life Begins At Conception vs. Life Begins At 40!
U.S. Out Of My Uterus vs. We Must Deploy Troops To Jessica Linden's Uterus Immediately

Notice that all these are before 2001... I stopped reading a couple months after their 9/11 coverage [which was awesome] because they were getting not funny. Is it funny again yet?

They sell The Onion on the streets around here, right next to the Post and the other papers. I find it funny about half the time, the rest it just annoys me because they're just being satirical just to toot their own horns (something I see a lot of around here, it drives me up the wall).

Well if all the SI members hadn't been banned, those Satirical punks would have been taken care of. But no, no, Chaos still rains here due to the Satirical Machine.

Also, i find the onion funny, but its a shame they don't sell copies down here.

yeah, we've laxed that rule, but that one's still a no go for now -ido

I haven't read terribly much of The Onion, but my favorite bit is the entry for 1969 in Our Dumb Century (warning: bad word alert).

My mom swears that's basically what the national mood was at the time, and that's what they would've said if they could've.

OK I'll stop replying to every post in this thread now.

I love the Onion News Network. Especially the one on the death penalty being awesome.

I thought it was free...at least it is here in Denver; I pick up The Onion every week and I've never paid a cent.

Haha

I don't usually read the Onion or watch the videos, but I thought that one was awesome. Language warning though.
