Aye, the Winter months are the worst. A somewhat large epidemic of the infamous cold has been around my school for a while. I have an annoying headache, but it's all good, since I got to stay home today. (cough) (sniffle)

I take vitamins and haven't acquired an influenza shot, but because I take vitamins, I haven't been sick all year. I haven't caught a cold or influenza since aproximately mid 2003 (or so).

I suppose this is as good a place as any to post...

Yes, I am a little sick. I have a crappy illness called Ulcerative Colitis (pun intended). I have been dealing with it for a few years, but none of the medicines do much.

So, on Thursday I get to go to the hospital and have my large intestine (colon) removed. Hopefully then I won't be sick anymore :)

Just when I finish up with a semester of school, and finally have time to post, I get to go to a place with no internet. Sigh...

Wish me luck :)

A colostomy, huh? That sounds absolutely no fun. I hope you pull through OK, though.

I always teeter on the edge of sickness, what with my wild-n-crazy lifestyle.

Let me revise this: I've been sick since late December 2004. Ugh, it's like being in /dev/null . I especially hate the congestion. I can't even put petroleum jelly on my nose to heal it from the rawness. I freaking hate colds. I can't emphasise that enough.

Well.... I no longer suffer from colitis :)

Kinda good, kinda bad.

The only real cure for colitis is a full removal of the colon. Let's just say I am cured of colitis.

A little sore, a little drugged, but quite happy with how things are currently going.

Ugh, congestion, cough, fever, the works. I hate it. Nothing to do, except watch the new teen girl squad, post stuff and read. Curse you illness, curse you!

Oh and to quote Napoleon Dynamite: " I don't feeeel very good."

Stupid Georgia weather...
One week, it is 72 degrees and warm enough to wear a t-shirt and shorts. The next week, it struggles to get in the 40's and a jacket is nessary outside. Not only that, but the change came suddenly. As a result, my body had a hard time readjusting. I am having a really bad cough. I have some stuffiness and sometimes get a runny nose, but those are not bothering me as much as the cough. I also have chapped lips, which is also not plesant. Winter has finally arrived in georgia with a vengence.
I know that 44 degrees doesn't sound too bad for people living in the northern states and Canada, but these temperatures are below the average
high of 56. I guess it's time to make up for the unusuall 70+ degree days that Georgians have had this winter. *Sigh* Winter *cough* is *cough cough
cough hack* here *cough sneeze cough hack* ohh... my lung just came out.
That is not good.
