I want voice actors to do voices for my show

I want some voice actors to do some voices for my show. I need reasonable ones, too. I don't want to hear a 13 year old trying out for a character who's in their 20's, unless it's really adult sounding.

CHARACTERS WHO NEED VOICES:

Gargleman: A website designer, who is somewhat of a smart mouth but nice guy, and is in his 20's.

Poppy: (Any better name ideas?) He's a little alien with weird powers. Sometimes has a negative attitude.

Well at 18 I sort of naturally got a low ominous-type/mysterious voice. Usually tend to sound a bit depressed since that's just how it is for the most part. Probably would fit Gargleman a bit better? Doesn't sound like it'd fit either of the two that much.

I myself don't do AVAing, but for one of my own animation projects I've got VAA buddies helping me out with it. I contacted a bulk of them through FLAVA and VAA (Voice Acting Alliance, I think it's called). I don't have links to their forums at the moment, because I've recently had my hard drive reformatted ... but you should be abie to find them easily through Google.

i signed up over there, and...the forums are broken. i hope i can have a voice actor for Gargleman at least by the new year's episode.

How would you work out the logistics of directing a voice actor over the internet?

location's not MUCH of an issue...it CAN be, but it's via the internet, so...think about it, y'know? voice recording experience would be helpful...flash experience not needed...age is a big problem. if u don't wanna try out, then you don't have to.

Y'know, I'd love to try out for the alien, buuuutt sowwy, man. cant. One, i dunno how to send my voice through email. two, my voice wouldnt be that good..... :sad:

you don't know that. you don't even know what he looks like. if sum1 WANTS to try out, then they should, regardless if they think they're good or not. and who knows? maybe tomorrow you'll be really big in pakistan. or at least, with some guy named stan.
