What's weather like where you are?

Right now, we are encountering a bit of snow, like 18 inches, and most counties are on Snow Emergency.

18 inches is quite hefty for Cincinnati.

Carry On.

Wow, snow. Living on an island, we don't get much of that. Today was very mild. It was sunny outside. Cold, but not the coldest of the season.

We only get snow only about once every decade here. It is always a treat for me to go to Colorado or someplace like that and go sledding. I wouldn't want to live there, though. Today, for example, was a pretty warm sunny day. I live in the west, by the way.

Low eighties today... it's been good photo-taking weather these past few days. Not too hot, no wind, and very overcast. Cold at night-- probably in the low seventies.

Oh how I wish the low was seventy here. It was about -2 outside a couple days ago...and that's the high. It's warming up...to the 20's. Oh, the lovely weather we're having here in the North East...

We're on LEVEL 3 SNOW EMERGENCY! AHH! RUN!!! SNOW INVADERS!!!!
The way the news crews induce panic we might as well sound the civil defense sirens.
So the news crews are like:
"We have a reporter out near Butayveea who is stuck at the Speedway because of the snow emergency. Let's Join Him
"Yeah, I just called my house and they don't have power so they are huddling by the wood stove blah blah blah.... back to you.

"Right, and there's a snow emergency in Hamilton, Butler, Pendelton, etc. counties and that means all roads are closed except to emergency personnel blah blah blah..."

And ticker keeps ticking away with closings.

I hate news crews.

I got about a foot of snow. It would be deeper, but the stuff on the bottom is more compact...

Don't worry, we'll get pounded with snow soon.....like, badly. Oh, and I don't think that Florida has snow, so they're another place that's snowless.

Yeah, you might want to buy a snowblower for the amount of snow you're in for.

Aaarrrghhh.... the high right now is 80... blagh.
Though I am to be flogged for saying this, I WISH IT WERE SNOWING HERE!!. The last time it snowed in Florida was... well... 1989, and, well, I was born in 1990.

The whether here is...pretendous. It's supposedly going to snow tomorrow here in Houston. It would be the first time we've had a good snow storm since like '89.

I should send a bag of snow to each of you.

But realistically, It snowed so much and there were so many auto accidents and some roads still aren't very passable.

Yeah, but I live closer to the lake. Cincinnati is much further South, you you won't get as much of the lake-effect snow like me :p

. . . but someone didn't pay the weatherman enough money so he he took our snow away . . . ha ha :) We were supposed to get snow here in St. Louis, but we always endup with too much dry air over us and the snow never makes it to the ground, that's what happened this time.

However, we did have some extreme cold, for St. Louis anyway. The last week the avg. temp has been in the teens, hasn't gotten above freezing in a while, and last night it was 2 degrees F. Over the next few days the temps should get back up into the 30s.

I'm having no snow here, which is really weird, seeing as it's Christmas day. It usually starts snowing in November here! But, it's still cold outside. It's about 30 degrees.

The weather outside is quite chilly.
It's about 16 degrees (Farenheit) outside my house (with no snow), and it's supposed to get about 10 degrees colder. I pity santa if he tries to slide down my chimney, though, cus we have a really nice, hot fire in the fireplace. Imma go sleep downstairs with a burn kit, just in case.
Merry Christmas, all... Enjoy <insert december holiday here>.
