Hey, I have kind of an odd question. I need a "game name", for all the RPGs and Adventure games I play where you have to give your characters a name. I want a name I can use each time, instead of "Cid", as I use in every non-Final Fantasy game. The best name I've come up with so far is "Ajax", as in the cleanser and the Greek guy, but I would kind of like it to be original. If anyone has any ideas, please tell me!

By the way, my friends' names are "Deus" and "Shego", if that gives you any ideas.

Eek. "Deus" means "God." Or perhaps "god" is more likely.

Anyways, look through some Lord of the Rings books/movies. There are some really good obscure names hidden all through there!

Maybe he meant "Deuce" like "Double Deuce" or "Deuce Bigalow"!

Whenever I play RPGs (which is more often than I'd like to admit - I'm a closet addict), if the girl is blonde, like me, then she's "Amy" - my name. If it's a guy, I always call him "Dude", just cause it's funny to see the other characters say stuff like, "Dude, the fate of the world is in your hands!"

That's awesome.

I used to make my character's name "Jerk" on Pokemon. For fun.

I challenge you to a battle, Jerk!

I started using Hellcat when Wing Commander II came out. I stuck with it for a few years, but, I mostly use Racer_X or some variation on that lately.

I have one....Ramrod :p Seriously, I just use the same for all of mine, HellXell. When all else fails, combine two things you like.

Bonus point to whoever can tell where I got HellXell from.

Actually, he pronounces it "Deuss" (dee-USS), which is weird- I keep telling him to add another s.

I'll look through the LotR books, thanks for the suggestion.

The word is pronounced Day-Uss. He's pretty close.

Ack! My post changed! The world is shattering! Augh!

How about "Aleeck" (bear in mind Im just making up fantasy names and they have no meaning...altho you could make them have meaning) or "Genth", or "Forgon"

I call charcters "stupid". It always seems to fit in the spaces and yields really funny results. "Hi Bob, I'm stupid." Try it with other short insults. Given your signature, TEF, I'd say name a character ADD.

I still like "Ajax", however. I haven't had a chance to look through the LotR books, though.
