"Aurora - Overland High School - Theatre - It is said that two years after the school was opened, a senior invited his little sister to watch a musical from the catwalks. There was a couch balanced across two catwalks, and to this day, it?s a big dare to go sit on them. He left his little sister on the couch and specifically told her NOT to get down without him. Halfway through the performance, the little girl had to go to the bathroom, or got scared and decided to climb down. She slipped in between the catwalks and fell sixty feet and died on the stage. If you turn off all the theatre lights and sit on that couch, you can hear her crying for her mommy, and the sound of little footsteps on the metal."-TheShadowlands.net

Now, I've never heard this girl, but some of my older theatre friends have; I first saw the couch during tech for "Macbeth" this past fall, & I was shushed immediately after I talked about it.

At the end of their senior year, each Thespian gets to sign their name somewhere backstage; I'm going to spray paint mine above the couch...

I'm sorry man, but ghosts aren't real. Until I see or hear a REAL ghost, I'm not going to believe they're real.

Speak for yourself--I (think I) saw a ghost at the Biltmore holel in Miami. Here's the story of the hotel (which is true); Al Capone stayed there in the Everglades room (now called the Al Capone room), and during a poker game, he lost a fortune, and gunned down one of the players. In fact, the bullet holes are still there (I went there on the tour), as is the blood stain in the marble floor near the window. Also, in that same suite, a woman jumped from the balcony (my sister and I got a picture on it, a breathtaking view, and though not definitive proof, we saw those "ghost orbs" in the picture when it developed). And, if that's not enough, in the 1930's, it was turned into a WWII hospital, in which around 100 soldiers died.

I'm definitely not your average ghost believer, but I do believe that it's possible for one's mind to sort of "linger" on after death.

I do believe in ghost, because I personally know of stories of ghost and such. My one friend knew a kid who went insane by seeing the Grim Reeper inside his allready haunted house.

The Grim Reaper is not a Ghost.
"Ghosts are spirits of the dead who are trapped in our world because they cannot go and rest. Normally these creatures cannot be controlled, but powerful liches vampires and necromancers are able to control some of these spirits. Ghosts are ethereal creatures this means that they can move through solid objects, ghosts can not be harmed in fighting only by laying the spirit to rest by exorcism or using blessed weapons. There are many different categories of ghosts."

Now, it says that Ghosts are spirits of the dead. The grim reaper is also known as death....So how did death die in thefirst place? if he was alive, in this plane, then there would have been no death...not even accidental. so Death has been around since the beginning of time.

In Conclusion, The Grim Reaper is not a ghost.

Well, you see, when he moved into that house, on the first day they had to wash the blood off the walls downstairs. Then at night a ghost would linger over their beds, whispering things to them as they sleep. It's things like that that give me the jibblies.

Pretty much every theatre I've ever been in - and I've been in A LOT - is haunted by something. My cousin lives in an old plantation house in Lousiana and it's DEFINITELY haunted. I don't like to think about ghosts, but too many people that I trust have sworn to me that they've seen them. I've never seen a ghost myself, but I have felt strange presences at times. A woman I knew who worked at a girls' camp that was previously an old church and graveyard told me that most ghosts do not wish to harm us - they only want attention.

That was really hard to read.

Ian, that was a freaky story. The whole "Mommy" thing was cool.

The theatre in my school is supposedly haunted. It's said that this one kid stripped himself naked and hung himself off the balcony. There's some kind of writing on the celling that nobody can make out, and if you go under the auditorium, in the makeup room, the lights are painted red and the mirror says "die" on it. Ok, that one was some stupid thing somebody decided they would do. but all that other stuff, true man.
