What are some of your scariest thoughts (or worst fears)? Some of mine are:
Walking across a cafeteria floor with no shoes. Looking out a window to see someone staring at you back (with a big, evil face! Ahh!). Realizing that I forgot to get dressed for school. What are some of yours? |

Don't worry, if it was bad I would have deleted it by now. It's funny. Kinda. It's not one of those "stare very closely at the picture until you see-- BOO!" things. |

This may sound stupid, but I have a fear of the Glad Man. You know, the white-haired guy in the white suit on the Glad commercials. He's just creepy. When I was little I used to have nightmares of him, and to this day I still can't look at the screen when he's on TV. I hear there's a new Glad Man these days, but I can't get the courage to check. |

| Post subject: | My Fears |
Here are my top fears: 1. Everything is perfect until one person makes one mistake, causing the entire universe to enter an eternal hell. 2. My closest family and friends suddenly turn on the world and change into demonic unearthly beings. 3. I am kidnapped, molested, and slowly killed through a horrid process of imminent torture. (Note: I am not obsessed with these ideas; they simply are in my dreams and deepest subconcious thoughts. |

I would scream at the top of my lungs if that happened to me. Eariler this month I said that having a cold is like being in /dev/null . Well, that's even worse. That is one of my worst fears. I can't emphasise that enough. |

Hmm, I like this topic. It allows you to vent a bit. Ok, my big fears: Picking the wrong college. No personal rationale behind it.....just the importance placed upon it by other people many times in the past has given me a big fear of college Fish. Icthyophobia, so to speak. I shrivel up when seeing those. Live, behind a tank, not so bad. Dead in any form, horrible. A dead fish in a tank, in a market, or on a plate just grosses me out to the point that I do have a phobia-type aversion. Fish flesh creeps me out a lot. Basically, the worst is just a dead fish. Have the shape/symbol of a fish burned into my fear- slimy scales, numerous long thin bones, open eyes, pink flesh, membrane-like tail, etc. Ugh. Drowning. Even worse, drowning in water with dead fish nearby. Being doomed to stay short, at 5'6, for the rest of my life. Had it bad for the first half; must I be the one who was always short? You'll have the little kid who was picked on in school growing to be 6'5, wealthy, and happy. And you have the big bully who shrivels up. And me, I was always short and don't hope to stay that way. It's not so bad in itself- sure you lose a lot of athletic potential, but it's the element of change that bothers me. >:v( Chinese people. Not really that big a fear, this one's more rational. But I've chosen not to mess with them (no offense to any of you who are Chinese). When I do, I seem to plunge into a sea of slitty-eyed guys with semi-long hair, big glasses and women who look 20 years older than they are and have harsh sharp voices. And kids who talk about school as if it's their hobby, like it's fun time. Japanese is different though. Lots of heat. Like ovens and stoves. While able to handle one, I'm very tense around them, worried about inadvertently touching something I shouldn't due eto clumsiness. Good luck with the play ikipapa! |

Huh?? Why? I did that all the time in school. In fact I rarely wore shoes at all in school. |

Well pluck my guitar! Sorry 'bout that, Ricksea. Another one of my fears are stoves or ovens. I hate pulling things out of the oven, even with mits. I fear that the heat will burn through the mits and onto my fingers. |

A few things scare me, such as heights. I don't know why, but I just like to be in the ground, thank you. Another is Oprah. Need I say anymore about that? And one of my biggest is when I'm driving over or under a bridge. I always think that they're gonna collaspe. Don't ask why, but I do. |

Yeah, I used to be fine with heights, but now I'm afraid of 'em. Another one is closed spaces, with the exception of walk-in closets. If someone was to lock me in a walk-in closet, I wouldn't get all scared-like. Unless they never let me out. Then I'd get scared-like. |

I'm not really scared of closed spaces, ever since some people at work thought it would be funny to lock me into the walk-in freezer for a couple minutes. After that, I was freezing, and non-scared of closed in spaces.
