I didn't like it. At first I really dug the story and then, I dunno. The combat was horrible, I could've stomached it so much better if it was turn based. Hell, even the final fantasy style of turn-based could've sufficed. To put salt in the wounds, it had the worst save game system. I hated with a fiery passion as hot as a million suns. That ruined what seems like a perfectly fine game for me.

/Shrugs and goes back to playing Fallout

It's kinda unnerving. I mean, every once and a while your thoughts go to "Wait, I'm playing a game with Donald Duck?" And some parts (Winnie the Pooh, Alice In Woderland) make you feel very stupid. This would have been cooler if it was like where you traved between Final Fantacies 2-10, and had the Disney characters take the backseat.

Never played it. And I really hope not too, at that. It just doesn't look very fun.

I've never played the original one for PS, but I have the semi-sequal Chain of Memories for my GBA. It's pretty good, except they go on and on and on and on and on about their adventures in the first game, which is lame, since I ain't played the first game so I don't as much care about all that. The game is okay.. it's basically some plots from disney movies mixed in w/ fighting in this game.. I semi-enjoy playing it-- can't say I'm as thrilled about it as I am about THE NEW LEGEND OF ZELDA, minish cap, baby!!!!! whoo hooo!! that game is totally awexome!!!!!!!!

Slightly offsubject: I'm sorry, but Shigeru is destroying the Zelda series. I'm not saying Wind Waker was bad, per se- ITS only fault was it was too easy. But the games it inspired- GameCube's Four Sword, Minsih Cap, etc. are terrible. Personally, I'm looking forward to the new LoZ for GameCube, where we return to OOT type graphics- only on GC's level, of course.

On topic: Kingdom Hearts AND Chain of Memories are awesome games, despite their cheesy Disney tie-ins, and IMO thy should be enjoyed by and fans of the Final Fantasy series. Although I agree, the game might have been better if Disney were given the backseat and Final Fantasy were the forerunners. Who knows- Kingdom Hearts 2 is basically set, but who can tell about the inevitable KH3?

I like the game, but some times it can be repetitive. Still haven't beaten the first, so I don't have an oppinion on Chain of Memories. Can't wait for KH2 to come out though.

I like the first KH, but i HATE the GBA one. It's so stupid. First of all, the story is almost identical to the original's, and second, card-based battling is about the lamest thing ever in an RPG.
But i'm still eagerly waiting for KH2
