For those of you who don't know what it is, it's a webcomic with cats and video game parodies. Weird combonation huh? They were sort of funny and hard to follow, and it sounds like they've just copied ideas that have been used in comics forever. Can't they just think of their own jokes like in Homestar Runner? |

I agree. Almost all the webcomics out today are derivative of Penny Arcade and PvP and such. I'm not saying thats a bad thing but it'd be cool to see some original ideas going on (I mean look at Penny Arcade! The stuff they can think up is insane!). It's as if the creators were like "Hey! Let's make a comic about videogames, but with cats as the main characters!" and didn't get much further than that. |

Yeah, VG Cats is pretty funny. However, I've never read any other webcomics (with the exception of 8-Bit Theatre) so I can't say how it compares to other material. My favorite episode is "Requiem for a Black Mage", if only because I love 8-Bit Theatre so much. "Don't Even Ask About Waluigi" is pretty good, too. |

Actually edsmilde, they even copied some jokes from H*R! For the 100th comic, they did a flash cartoon with an easter egg at the end. It involved PantsMan answering fan e-mail just like SB. Even at the end of that bit, SB came into the room and yelled at PantsMan! Unoriginal at the most. But most of the jokes are really good. |

The only one that should be PROFANITY ALERT'D is the Four Swords one. Sure VGcats has a lot of unessasary violence and language, but it's still funny....right? Even if someone drops an "F" bomb, "A" bomb, or "S" bomb, I'll still laugh. Even if the joke sucked. And I'm talking about really bad jokes. Like the kind my mom use. |

Back on the subject of VG Cats... I think VG Cats it absolutely one of the worst webcomics out there. It's terrible, and it's not funny. Like, at all. Though I like cats and playing video games, VG Cats is just stupid. Add some shiney gloss to some cartoon cats who swear and you think you've got a hilarious webcomic. |

* rolls eyes* y'know, VG cats is pretty cool, not as cool as homestar, but cool...i mean, it may be because i grew up around swears....bieng Cuban/NY/Italian...i dont mind the swearing,and once you get past the fact that these kittys are using bad words...the jokes are pretty funny, i liked the new one with Raz sucking up the ghost's soul... |
