ohhhhhhhhh guess what

I'm pretty much jumping around the room right now because that was awesome. Now, to pay or not to pay? That is the question.
Also, according to the blog, there will be some BS DVDs. That one does not have the question of whether or not I will pay. :)

What was in that episode was awesome.

However, I still refuse to pay for a cartoon.

Sorry, Bonus Stage.

Well. That makes me feel a bit better. But I don't know if I'm gonna watch it. Matt Wilson is still a jerk. I don't want to watch or read anything created by a jerk.

OH WHO AM I KIDDING???? I've never let principle stop me from ANYTHING! *goes off to read Dilbert comics and watch Star Wars movies*

Bump.

It looks like the lost episode made it's way to Newgrounds...and it's on the front page, too! This will certainly acquire some fans.

When you get into Bonus Stage, you need to watch the first episodes first, then the newer ones. Otherwise you'll end up both baffled and lost. Just a word of advice to all forum-goers. :p

Heh. I'm still lost, and I've seen every episode forwards and backwards. Heck of a ride though.

First Mark an' Tony episode thing is out!

It was pretty interesting, although it definitely felt short compared to those last Bonus Stage episodes. Although I know he already said they would be.

Is Ami a boy?

Mark sounds like a kid Phil. :p

I thought that was pretty good. Mark an' Tony sound like kid versions of Phil and Elly.

As for Ami, I'd say he's a guy. The name is really off, though.

The opening still rocks. I love how Ami's background is Grass Land from Super Mario Bros. 3.

IMO, buying a bagel is a much better use of two dollars then buying ONE episode of a crappy web cartoon.

Especially if it's a tasty bagel. Mmm, bagel.

Yay, not everyone on this forum is a BS fanboy/girl!

Ah, but it doesn't COST as much as the bagel.

I have a whole bag of bagels in my fridge anyway. But do I have a whole bag of webtoons in my fridge?

[s]Wait, how did those get there?[/s] You bet I don't.

EDIT: Okay, that was a pretty sexy episode of... stuff. Tony is so cool.

No, but you do have a whole metaphorical bag of OTHER free web cartoons you can watch. BS isn't the only thing out there, y'know.

Like H*R. The entire site is free, and the creator(s) isn't a complete jerk to his fans.(MAAAT WILSOOON!)

EDIT: And let's compare some facts, shall we? Both H*R and BS have wikis.

The Brothers Chaps have mentioned several times that they like the Wiki, and even made a large donation to it.

Matt Wilson, on the other hand, seems to hate his fanbase, espeically the wiki, which he has insulted and made fun of. I don't understand why people like him so much.

And don't tell me I'm biased, I used to be a BS fan too...

Hmm, the first episode of the Stupid Adventures of Mark An' Tony was pretty cool, but kinda hard to follow. Tony is awesome, though. I like it when she licks off her eyeball!

Oh, trust me, we don't all love Matt Wilson. He can be a hardcore jerk. But he has a sense of humor which is unique to his cartoons. When we watch them, we're not looking for Homestar Runner, we're looking for Bonus Stage.

Besides, keep in mind that MW is not one of those creators (like TBC) who are all mysterious and up-there. He interacts with the fans to a great extent. Of course we're gonna irk him somehow.

Well, that's just you then. I personally don't like BS's sense of humor, I prefer humour that doesn't have to resort to vulgarites and random crap to get a laugh.

But that's just me.

Myrrh wrote:

By being a jerk to them, yes. Also, who said TBC were mysterious and stuff? Yes, they're often too busy to chat with the fans and whatnot, but at least they're nice to them.

I liked it. Nice parody of all of those crappy kids' spy/mystery shows where kids inexplicably outsmart adults who should know much better.

Darn it, though, none of the kids sounded like kids. Shouldn't have used Kagome for Tony either because he sounds like a girl. And don't you think he sorta looks like Joel as a kid or something? But of course, Mark sounds no better as Matt Wilson only has one voice for all little kids and it's not that convincing.

Minor nitpicks, as the voice acting in all of Matt's cartoons has never been the greatest.

Yeah, I first thought she was just a fruity boy before I read her official character bio. I guess it's better this way though.

There would have been, if tkeely came up with the money. Matt doesnt seem to have hard feelings about tkeely, though.

For the record, Matt Wilson's on his own, In H*R theres Matt and Mike Chapman, Missy Palmer and lots of others. BS was a good series and tgo be honest you wouldnt like it if I said "Homestar Runner is ghey", would you? I enjoy both webtoons and i'm tired of all these flame wars between webtooons! I like both for different reasons and don't hate either of them! In facty, my dream cartoon would be a H*R/BS crossover!
