I will NEVER play Runescape. NEVEREVEREVEREVEREVEREVER. Anything that most of the kids in my class consider "cool" will always and forever suck, except when it doesn't. And this is one of the times where it does.

You must have been in the wilderness.. That's the only place other players can kill you.. And you don't start all over... You lose everything but your 3 best items (4 for me because of a prayer I have), but that's still pretty annoying. Use the banks early and often.
Most experienced players won't attack someone 30-40 levels below them, as, most of the time, people create characters like that to use as bait. You attack the lower character (who happens to have some expensive stuff, for some reason), he runs, you chase him, and find yourself in deep doo-doo with some powerful characters. I found that out the hard way.

Well, technically, you start over (as far as being put back at the castle where the game started).. That's why, at that place, there is usually a lot of angry people.

Well yeah. I used to play it. Training is boring. I finished many quests, got myself up to level 30 and just chatted with the others... And then I got bored. I don't play it anymore. I sometimes check in though.
