It's grand. We live together in Boston and just chill and do stuff. I do my little gigs and write for a fantasy magazine, and she is a graphic artist, a good one at that. We're getting really serious, so I'm hoping for the best!

Her name is Jessica, btw.

I have 2 questions:
1. How much do you like (just normaly) her from a scale from 0-10?
2. Its been a while since you made this topic, are you sure she still likes you?

  That's really creepy, the often-mentioned-girl-on-which-I-had-a-huge-crush was also named Jessica.
And I had a dream last night in which I somehow got up the courage to ask her out. Can't imagine myself doing that. And I don't even like her any more.

Wait, you have a GF as well? So you're telling me that two out of the three members of 'the sad to be a part of' the Lech Club. I should tell your Girlfriends what you two are doing here.

NL and I went into this knowing that there was a slim to none chance of either of our women reading our exploits here. *tee hee*

I have a question, where would be a good place to take a girl uot? I know that movies are always good, but I don't want to be too cliche. Any suggestions?

Take a walk, to like a pizza place. You have nothing better to do whilst walking so you learn more about each other faster.

A walk by the beach or in the park is key.

Though nowadays, all we really do is chill at my pad and play guitar and write songs and draw. It sounds banal, but it's oh so much fun.

Meh, I'm not really into the whole dating-girlfriend-etc thingy. However, I know of at least one girl and suspect another at my school who want to do the ultimate nasty (use your imagination) with me. *shrug*

Well, while they might be interested in that, you can always just talk to them and be friends. And when you feel that the time's right, that is when you ask them out. But you do what you gotta do.

You could always do something a little unconventional, like go bowling or to an arcade-type place where they have skeeball, air hockey, etc. And don't worry if you suck, she'll probably think that's cute.
Or if you have to go shopping for, say, a mother's day gift or something, ask her to help you pick something out. That'll show her that you value her opinion.
Or just take her out to eat. How she behaves might tell you some more about her - if she's one of those "I already weigh 110 lbs but I'm on a diet so I'll just have a salad and water" girls, or if she actually eats normally. Girls with healthy appetites usually know how to cook, and a home-cooked meal is a great prospect.

Here's a good idea:

There are these places where you can go in and paint unfired pottery, then you keep it.

Those kinda places are great on dates, cause they're fun and you're doing something together.

In fact, I went to a place like that Saturday with Ms. Opaque. I painted a coffee cup. Yay. So did she. Yay yay.

Only of you live in one of the nice artsy towns, I say again: my town is a straight up craphole.
