I don't think it was that drastic a situation.

Haven't checked in since page two, so hoorah for summarizing!

For the record, I'd just like to state a very important Fact O' Life: real women do not like a-holes. Or jerks. Or whatever you want to call that whole thoroughly generalized mess of BLEH. However, unfortunately, some stupid girls do. Your mission, males of the species, should you choose to accept it, is to LEARN HOW TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE. Does she treat you and other people right? Has she got a brain, and more importantly, does she use it? Can she connect several sentences together in a humorous manner? She can also receive several scads of bonus points if she's willing and ready, any day, any time, anywhere, to beat the living crap out of you at any of the various versions of Tekken. Or perhaps that's just a good qualifier in my world -- after living in it for quite some time now, I can't really tell anymore.

For that matter, the very same Fact O' Life goes both ways. Stupid boys are very, very different from real men. Remember: first and foremost, real men treat you right. They also utilize their brains and have humorous potential. Just don't think they can win at Tekken. 'Cause they can't.

Sorry MHG, you being my sister-in-HR and all, but I gotta admit that I'm not fully down with the smoking. Smokers themselves are all right. I do wish they could stop shortening their lifespans with the cancer sticks, but hey, they know the risks already, and I'm not one to cast stones. Everybody's people. (As long as they're nice n' real people, that is ... which MHG is, so voila.) Just don't go smoking around me, that's all I ask. I might hack up a lung, and then I'd have to pay your carpet bill.

And incidentally ... females lech too, you know. In fact, I'd lay a hefty wager that quite a lot of us do so, on a daily basis, far more than you guys do. However, the real women among us just learn to keep it on the down low, and certainly not around the underaged: above all things, I absolutely don't believe in that nonsense. If a person hasn't yet formed the mental-emotional facilities to deal with relationships, NO. Just NO. But good-times friendship, sure. And good-times Tekken winning, absolutely sure. Nina. Boo-yah.

tur-duck-en. n. a chicken stuffed in a duck stuffed in a turkey.
Now that's GOTTA be British fare.

Because (if I'm interpreting Christa correctly) they are girls and not real women.

I think the girls like men who are dangerous, and that's why they flock to them.

I shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die and that was pretty dangerous. Sadly, there was no girl-flocking afterwards, just a date with Bruno the Lifer... :-S

You were also called many other things that I cannot repeat here.

I've been talking to a lot of girls and they say now that they're in college they wonder what they say in the jerk guys.

Always reminds me of the Bizarro comic featuring a camera-wearing cowboy in a saloon, saying "I shot a man in Reno just to watch him flinch, cover his eyes and blink really fast". XD

To get back on topic... well, I'm sure I'll be able to avoid the foolish girls, as I prefer to avoid anything that can qualify one as dangerous. I can only privately laugh at the guys who think such behaviour will inspire affection, as opposed to the mere clouded infatuation of sorts that will actually occur. as they're going to be in a spot of trouble if the illusion is allowed to continue.

EDIT: Dang, double post. And no, IJ, I'm not ignorant enough to not know the source of the lyric. XD I've not been living under a rock. =p

Of course, it reminds me of the Johnny Cash song "Folsom Prison Blues" that everybody cribs that line from..

Me too.

And Christa, I appreciate your not-being-a-jerk-ishness regarding smoking. And if you ever come over and I forget and smoke in front of you, don't worry - I have hardwood floors so you won't have to pay any carpet cleaning bills!

And Christa is definitely right - girls lech too. Just look at my comment on Seethroo's picture - "Your wife is a lucky lady". See how that was done? Nice and polite-like. We're smart enough to know how to say "You're cute!" without sounding like pervs.

I've said too much! *runs away*

Cajun, if I'm not mistaken. All the recipes I've ever found for it call for Andouille.

We're just subtle about it, like "That shirt looks great on you", or "Did you get a haircut?" or "I wish I had eyelashes as long as yours". But just wait until we're alone with our gallies - that's when the real leching begins. :p

yeah that i have seen and heard. When you spend an entire school year in a class where you are the only guy you hear things like that. I just didn't know that it was leching.

I can almost imagine the conversation you girls have.

That's why you're girls are smarter than us guys, you have mastered the art of subtle leching.

I get that one once in awhile. I have long eyelashes. They go down to my knees.

Okay, that's a lie, but they are fairly long. No mascara for me! Er...

That's the funniest thing I've seen all day.

Why do guys get the long eyelashes while we have to suffer with mascara? It's not fair. My boyfriend has 'em too, but they don't go down to his knees.

My wife is one of those rare specimens of the female race that has long eyelashes naturally.

If she were to put on mascara, it could be deadly for bystanders.

Either of those would be good, I think. Or if the weather's nice, go for a walk in the park.

That's the thing, if the weather's nice. I could always talk her for a walk near Onondaga Lake. But I do hear things about the lake though...

Man, so do I. Like.. "Onondaga Lake is a severely polluted lake, primarally due to industrial dumping. It's advised not to fish or swim in the lake. The lake has high levels of mercury, salt, phosphorus, and ammonia. The EPA has declared it a hazardous waste site."

It's the second most man-made polluted lake in the world, right behind Lake Cherynobel in Russia, and that's because there was a nuclear fallout there.

It looks like crap because there actually that in there. When it rains too hard, the sewage treatment plant releases the flood gates and all the sewage (unfiltered) goes into the sout end. And the Sewage plant it right next to the mall....which they hope to expand and make it the largest mall in America. Thank God I live in Surburbia.
