That's how old I was when I had my first boyfriend. And I still have friends who are older than that and never had a significant other. I promise, there is nothing wrong with you if you aren't in a relationship, now or ever, no matter what age! Life is different for us all, otherwise, it'd be boring!

I just don't want to end up like my dad not getting married until his mid 30's. My mom was the first woman he ever dated. and that was at 33. he was married and 36 and was 41 when I was born.

My Dad was older than that when he got married, and older than that when I was born! And he's been a great dad, I wouldn't trade him for anything. But I do understand your concern.

Sheesh! My mom got married just after she turned 16, no fooling.

Oh, and I'm 13.

It'n not like it's mandatory that you have to ne engagedwhen your 19. You still have a long ife a head of you, so don't worry it all up about the women.

Yeah! I had relationships when I was a teenager, but I didn't find the right guy until I was 21. And my sister is turning 32 and is still single! So not to worry, boys! You have lots and lots of time.

Yeah, we've known that she's engaged. But like that's gonna stop us....cause we're pathetic.

She's stated a few times about her boyfriend, and how they're engaged. She was talking about her wedding song a few days ago.

 I'm engaged? Do you guys know something I don't?

Well, I'm not engaged, although I do have a diamond on my right hand (engagement rings are worn on the left, in case you didn't know). We may as well be engaged, but not yet. It's pretty much a money issue, as my boyfriend has a truck to pay off before he can afford a ring. We're living together, though, and in August we will have been together for 4 years. So, yeah, we will get married someday. But not yet. ;)

Edit: About the wedding song, we have some plans, but nothing definite. It's like we're unofficially engaged.

Ahh, ok. I just kinda assumed there. But I swore I heard you say that he was your fiancé...weird....

Maybe I was lying because I want to be engaged so bad. I don't want to get married until at least after I'm finished school (in 3 or 4 or 5 years, depending on if I get my Master's degree, and if I go to teacher's college), but I really want a ring to show off. I'm so awful!

He would definitely choose Data or Artoo, but I'ma say he looks more like a Dalek.

Let me guess what he does for a living: He's an EXTERMINATOR!

Besides, you got to watch out for that Number 5. He's a real playa!

I feel honored, embarrased, humililated, and I kinda smell like pea soup now, but I'm happy! Thank you Tor! And as for MHG, sorry for the assumption.

Who is this Botfriend Dan I keep hearing about anyway?

It seems ramrod has a special affinity for saying things that are kept around for a long time. Anyway, good reference to MST3K. Anyway again, relationships take time and money, love and respect, tenderness and control, sacrifice and comprimise...which are excellent reasons for why I am not in one currently. Having a relationship would mess up my head and I have enough trouble keeping it straight. To expand on StrongCanada's diddy, the question is, are you willing to give in order to receive? Because many times we are not mature enough to realize this. That's why it takes some people a long time to get in a serious relationship. However, there can be risks (Huzzah to long relationships that give you nothing in return!) I learned this the hard way...

Am I babbling?

DanBo: The Lasik was a birthday gift from ye olde parental units. Gift of sight = not too shabby.

I meant, um... old... for a girl?

Sorry, Didymus, it's just that the big 2 5 is looming close. And, having just completed my first year of university, I feel old, on account of most of the kids in my classes are 18.

It's not as bad as feeling too young! My mom went to college when she was 14. (and that's my goal too)
