So I find out that said girl has a boyfirend (we were talking and he came up) so I just lose all will to keep going, so I just sit her down and tell her and tell her everything. She understood and thought it was cute. It felt kinda good, but not as good as having her as my girlfriend would :((

Didn't we have this debate before? That girls seem to always be attracted to the jerks even when they were hurt by ones in previous relationships.

For the record, I'd just like to state a very important Fact O' Life: real women do not like a-holes. Or jerks. Or whatever you want to call that whole thoroughly generalized mess of BLEH. However, unfortunately, some stupid girls do. Your mission, males of the species, should you choose to accept it, is to LEARN HOW TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE. Does she treat you and other people right? Has she got a brain, and more importantly, does she use it? Can she connect several sentences together in a humorous manner? She can also receive several scads of bonus points if she's willing and ready, any day, any time, anywhere, to beat the living crap out of you at any of the various versions of Tekken. Or perhaps that's just a good qualifier in my world -- after living in it for quite some time now, I can't really tell anymore.

For that matter, the very same Fact O' Life goes both ways. Stupid boys are very, very different from real men. Remember: first and foremost, real men treat you right. They also utilize their brains and have humorous potential. Just don't think they can win at Tekken. 'Cause they can't.

I have been recently informed that one girl from the sophomore class has a rather huge crush on me, the kind where she can't even talk to you out of embarrassment. One of my friends (the one who told me) is going to introduce me to her tomorrow. You know, I think this is the first such occurence for me ever.

Been there done that. I have had one of those type of crushes. It drives you nuts. You start doing things that are not what you normally do. You try to do anything to get that persons attention, while hoping to knot fall flat on your face.

Unfortunately, I have this nasty feeling it'll (at least partially) work out that way. Thing is, I have no idea who this girl is. She apparently moved here like 3 months ago.

I just noticed: ramrod only has 107 posts?

Bah. The guy was about to have one of his friends (who is also one of my friends) introduce her to me and he took off at the last second.

Well, anoyher year went by and I didn't ask this one girl to hang out. I knew her from my old school, and I want to catch up on old times...and maybe see a movie together. Top of the page dance!

That happened to me once, except that I knew she had a boyfriend the entire time I was infatuated with her. It didn't help that her boyfriend was a jerk. But it did feel better to get it off my chest, and she and I became good friends. And it's nice to have hot friends.

They seem to think that the next will always be different. Of course, this is comming from a guy, so it's not that accurate.

aaah...poor ramrod...everyone picks on him because he has too much hair...they're just jealous man! As for Breadtangle, when you do meet this girl, just take it easy. if she has a real big crush on you, it can't be that bad can it? see if she likes you, spend some time as friends just chatting. get to know her, and then go from there. if you both like each other, all systems go! and the best of luck to you.

good for you man. make sure you keep her as a friend though don't abuse it. feel lucky that you've got her as a friend, and keep it like that! at least, that's what i'd do.
