I kinda like the Cubs, but right now I don't really have a favorite team. I used to be a Yankees fan, but that's because they were the only team I knew at the time (I was 6). I used to like the Expos, but now they're the Nationals.  I like the Marlins, but I'm not sure they're my favorite team. I also like the Blue Jays, so my favorite team is probably either the Marlins or the Blue Jays.

Well, the Cubs are the only team with a curse still, so I'll root for them, but I'm really a Red Sox fan. |

Ha ha I've one of those foam tomahawk things but I like the Tigers, Red Sox, Dodgers, Indians, and the Cubs a little bit (and the Braves I suppose) mostly Tigers |

Couldn't we just change this to an all baseball thread, so we can justalk about baseball? Or should I make a baseball thread?? Just wondering. Anyway, I am a Padres fan. Too bad they lost to the stupid Mariners (sorry, BTG, just not when they play my Padres  ). No more eight game winning streak. It's all because Mark Loretta is hurt. Come back, Lo!!

Baseball is not my thing. I only watch sports when either the Lakers or the Yankees are getting their tails whooped, then it's fun. |

Here's a question: If you like the Yankees, then are you in favor of large corporate giants stealing and dismantling other companies for the sake of raising their stock a fifth of a point? You aren't? Then why would you cheer for them? I mean, c'mon look at them. You can talk about the past and the history and how prolific they are with winning. But with Georgy Porgy signing more checks than the Federal reserve to get the best players at all costs, it's just not right. I used to love the Yanks till he came. Ruined the name and reputation of a once great team. Go Fightin' Phils! You suck, but I still love ya. |

I like teams like the Florida Marlins. Here is a team with a low payroll and the have won two World Series titles. They play baseball for the integrity of the game, not for the biggest paycheck. |

Ya, my sister lives in Houston, and she is an Astro fan. She really liked how Houston had all those signs saying: "Astros:This is the Year!!" and then the season starts, and the Astros are horrendous. heh. |

I remember when I went to game 4 of the 1998 World Series. Yankees won the game, and the series. Broke my heart. |
