OK, last week it was in the 80's. Earlier this week we had frost warnings. What the crap?

Simple, the weather's broken... You know all those commercials where the TV weather people say "When severe weather breaks, count on us" or other stuff like that? Well, that's what happened. The weather broke. We need some sort of duct tape cannon to fix it.
Ahh...I blame NBC.....freaking Leno..... Accuweather....yeah right... As for the Duct Tape, we might need a couple more rolls. But it's typical Syracuse weather.

Accuweather? No such thing, my friend, no such thing...

Personally, I think Weathertap or Intellicast are among the best commercial weather sites on the net.
As for me, I get most of my weather from the National Weather Service and the Storm Prediction Center or I'll look at model guidance and make my own conclusions. The best place to look at graphical model outputs is Unisys.

It is hot today. It's so hot I had to look at a map to make sure I was still in New York state

It really is ridiculously hot today. At least, it seems that way. It must have hit 85 degrees. And that's Celsius.

On a positive note, I finally got to go swimming in my pool today! Ahh, the sweet bliss of your very own in-ground pool...

Nothing can beat that feeling. :)

Lucky, the nearest pool to me is ten miles away.

Well hey, that's even better! On a hot day, you walk the 10 miles, and by the time you get to the pool, you're so hot and tired that jumping in the pool is the most wonderful thing you can possibly think of.

Ahh...summertime bliss...

Thank you but I'd rather drive.

My neighborhood pool is like two minutes away from my house. And that's if you're walking. Life is good.

Uh... Toast paint.

There was this huge storm last night at my house... Power went out when I was on the forum, so I was T.O.'d. Also there was tornado warnings and branches falling and stuff, and I forgot to close my window so water got all over my lappy and nearly fried it... I guess I'll stop rambling now...

We're about to get one monster of a thunderstorm. You know how before a storm, when the outside is all yellow-tinted and the wind is blowing hard, that you know this is going to be a big storm? That's what's happening now. I love it.

It's always freakish weather here in Mass. May was all storms and coldness. Now June is hotter than heck. It's crazy man, crazy!

I see that we have a hurricane heading towards Florida... That's plenty more work for my girlfriend when she gets back to work (not all of us get to vacation with a cruise in Alaska, some of us get stuck building "steel" in wal-mart). It's not like she doesn't have a lot of work to do, she's still processing claims from last summer's storms.

I wish we'd get a good thunderstorm, or even a good rain here. It's hot and humid like you wouldn't believe.

I have been waiting for it to rain here to get rid of the humidity, but every time it looks like it is gonna rain, it doesn't.

It really is horribly humid here. Clouds, promicing clouds, have been hovering over here for a looooooooooooong time, without any effect besides making it more humid. Tomorrow it's supossed to be even hotter.

I'm in the good old state of MO, and over the last four days we've been getting TONS of rain. Several inches of rain. So it's nice and cool here.

Today was hot and muggy, and I had to man the concession stand at my sister's softball game. It was uncomfortable.

I was serving people in Bubs' voice, though. They thought I was nuts. ;)

Ummm, I was just looking at the Storm Prediction Center's website, and I'm not quite sure what to make of this
Nowhere in my meteorology classes did I ever learn of Pac-Man eating Colorado.. Looks like Kansas is next, too! ARGLEword!

On a serious note, it's really sunny, really humid, and really warm outside.. Perhaps we can get some stormage today. We need the rain.

Wait, your not?

Last night, we had a pretty good size storm. And by that, I mean a freaking huge one. And it seemed to come out of nowhere.

There was just a good sized strom here last night, I wasn't as big as I was hoping but it was decent.

That storm turned out to be less than crappy. Just a bit of thunder, and only about .08 inches of rain... All the good weather went around my house. I think I put the batteries in backwards in my weather machine. I gotta go check that out..

Ok for the last month Upstate New York(where I live) has been suffering through an oppressive heat wave. There have been a few breaks along the way, and it looks like it is gonna be over(hopefully) this weekend.
