Is it me, or do any of you guys wake up absolutely freezing only for it to be blazing later on in the day?

I do, but then again, being a Floridian, 70 degrees is freezing, and 90 degrees is blazing.

For me, 70 is on the warm side, and 90 is pool time, because when it's hot here, it's also very humid.

Within the past week, we had 26 degrees for the first time this year. This weekend, we got four centimetres of snow. Canadian weather for you.

26 in Celsius, I assume. That's...hot, yes? Like, 80 Fahrenheit, maybe?

Friday, it was 80, Saturday, it was around 45 with rain, and Sunday, we had rain/snow, and I don't believe the temp got out of the 30's. Yesterday, the temps rebounded in to the 60's, and today was cold and rainy again. Looks like we're gonna have "chance of showers" (which is forecaster speak for "I really can't tell what's gonna happen") and in the 60's... Not too bad. Not warm, though.

FOOTBALL weather, but it's baseball season..

I live in an area where it is not uncharacteristic to go through 3 season in 2 two days. This has happened before. One day it was snowing then later on that day it was raining and then the next day it was sweltering. Now there is certain part of the male anatomy that can't handle that kind of weather.

We had the exact same weather up here in Sudbury. Sucks, huh? I mean, eh?

By the way, here's a good Celsius-to-Fahrenheit conversion thing, since NO Canadians know Fahrenheit.

Way too much information there! My mind weeps.

But yeah, if you want to live in a place where you can fully experience all four seasons, it's here in Syracuse. Southerns complane that it's too cold, Canadians complain that it's too hot, and that's only in April.

Waitaminute. If Suicune's weather was that hot, where did the snow come from?

Linking to the National Weather Service... She's waaaaaayyy more than "modestly" hot! I'm in love. WHOOO HOOOO!

If you kiddies want the formula to convert to Celsius from Farenheit, it's:
(C x 9/5)+32, where C is the temperature in degress celsius.
To go from Farenheit to Celsius, it's: (F-32) x 5/9, where F is temperature in degrees Farenheit.

I would put the formulas for the other things on that page, but most of them (except for pressure, wind, and precip) are too drawn out, and aren't the simple, semi-linear things like those above. The math gets pretty ugly for relative humidity, heat index, and wind chill.

Can someone tell me how it is possible to have clear skies all day with a chance of rain? Am I missing something, or what?

Well, a chance of rain is, just that, a CHANCE of rain. Despite all we know about the atmosphere, there's still a lot to learn. Forecasting is, in some ways, still an educated guess. With what we know, that guess is getting more and more educated, but it's still a guess. That's why I want to work for the weather service after I get my MS. I get paid to guess.

It rained a lot the other day. I mean a lot.
But of course, that amount would be nothing to some of y'alls.
It rained harder than I had ever seen it rain. All day. Crazy.

Yesterday while I was driving to my parents' house there was a crazy hailstorm. It only lasted about 5 minutes, but it made driving pretty difficult for a while. It's supposed to maybe snow tonight!

I remember whn I was driving one time I expereinces hail for five minutes...then kept going and it was a downpour. Five minutes later it was snowing. Earlier in the day it was near 50 degrees. I don't get it.

Even though it's a rarity for me, I love hail. Hail is awesome.
I like to catch it out of the air, and then throw them at people. FUN.

Yeah, hail's fun until they crack your car wingshield.

Wingshields, ramrod? Sure about that?

I don't think I've ever even been in a hailstorm before. Ever.

I've never been in a hailstorm, but I've been in a flood.

My town is very prone to flooding. Remember Hurricane Isabel? My town was flooded. School was canceled. My house was untouched.
