My brother said something good at dinner tonight to my uncle.
He said: "I was still heartbroken when I saw Anakin change. It was so powerful. I cried, and I knew it was going to happen. It made me want to go to the end of episode six to see Vader kill Sidious, just so I know that everything will turn out O.K."

When he said that, I realized I had felt the same thing.

This has most likely been already brought up but, the worst part of that film was when Anakin was in the Jedi Temple. The Younglings were asking him for help and he mercilessly cut them down. :((

Here's an answer to four, TEF:
Grevious is generally a reptile/alien. However, for some reason, he is covered in what appears to be droid armor. The inside of his armor is a disfigured heart-like thing. Alien/Reptile/Droid is the closest thing I can tell.

Grievious was definitely an interesting character.

My friend John told me that he was actually one of Sidious' apprentices, and he ended up getting all jacked up and had what was left of him put into that wierd robot thingy.

Kinda like Darth Vader, no?

He said it was in one of the official books out there, like, one considered to be Star Wars canon.

Star Wars made it's presance felt at the Grand Prix of Monaco this past weekend. They were a part of team Red Bull.

That's neat. Me lieks the Darth Vader comparison. I know the reason he was hacking and coughing all the time. You'd just have to watch Star Wars: Clone Wars. It's odd, but it explains some things (like Grievous coughing). On an aside note, I really like his four-arm lightsaber action!

Odd, but cool=very yes. It almost completely filled in the gaps between Episodes 2 and 3.

Are you kidding me? His presence in the movie was basically he's the big bad guy, he's just there and he's evil. No motivation, no explanation of his background. His character is so 2-dimensional he might as well have been drawn on a piece of paper and stuck on a yardstick.

And come on, his name! What, was Hitler von Killington too subtle or something?

I think I read somewhere that he was built by the same guys who made Darth Vader's suit.

Wait. What exactly is Star Wars: Clone Wars? Where can I find it?

And in my personal opinion, Grievous's "four-lightsaber action" sucked. He pulls four (non-red) sabers out, then just begins randomly spinning them around. It takes Obi-Wan all of thirty seconds to cut off two of his hands, at which point the loser jumps in some kind of spinny car and runs off. Obi-Wan chases him on what seems to be an extremely fast lizard, which is lame enough (that the car was so slow), and then they end up on some kind of platform... it takes two whole shots to kill Grievous. Bah.

Grievous. So lame.

I like the line Obi-wan says after he kills Grievous, he shows his distaste for blasters.

I saw the movie. It was pretty awesome, it was much better then the two before it. My only real complaint is that the fact that you know that Anakin is going to become Vader makes it kind of predictable.

I just watched it.

Best. Movie. Ever.

The best part was when Anakin talked to Padme at the lava planet, and then saw Obi-Wan behind her. The lightsaber fight was good too. But there were lots of times when I thought. Why didn't Anakin kill Sidious the first time he found out he was a Sith. It would of saved his life!! And why didn't Mace kill Sidious immediatly? It was so sad when Vader screamed "No!!!" and Sidious was laughing. It was so ironic how at the starting, Obi Wan was telling Anakin he was great, and how he may have the force with him, and in a series of events, at the end, they're killing each other. If Obi-Wan just didn't take Anakin from Tatooine, none of this stuff wouldn't of happened. Did Vader get a new lightsaber? But seriously, this was the best movie of every Star Wars episode. I loved the tragedy-theme in it. It totally saved the movie. Imagine if it had Jar-Jar, and it tried to be funny like Ep.1.

After you watch Ep.3 you get a huge urge to watch ep.6 to see how it ends with Vader killing Sidious, and to calm you down. It's amazing how all of the story connects. There are so many little things that if they didn't do none of the tragedy would of happened. Like if Obi didn't pick up Ani as a kid. Or if Ani killed Sidious when he first knew he was Sid, and if Mace attacked right away, and if Yoda was able to kill Palp, and if Anakin didn't make Padme pregnant. Seriously, it is a chain of events. It is so unrealistic how everything perfectly fits together.

But, this still is the best movie ever. The sadness, the action, the story, the graphics, the characters, were all perfected.

A+. 100%. 100.

If Lucas didn't make it this good, fans wouldn't be satisfied enough. Again. Best movie ever.

Post subject:  Not really...

You make a good point, but none of the "little" things you said that could have averted the tragedy were really that small. In fact, they were all rather large. Just sayin'.

Yeah but it was cool to see his transformation.

The whole point of this movie was to show the transformation, as BTG said, and to explain why Anakin turned to the dark side. We also needed to see how the big Jedi slaughter happened, and what happened when the kids were born and how they got to Alderaan and Tatooine.

The Jedi Slaughter scene was by far the best scene in the movie. It was soooooooooooooooooo well done.

The very last scene where we see Owen and Beru Lars holding young Luke in the same pose that we see Luke in Episode: IV. That was cool and prophetic.

yeah, that part was really sad. I liked it when Annikin got what he deserved and was burning on the edge of the lava river, that was so cool.

The duel between the Emperor and Yoda was cool in the fact that two of the most powerful Jedi went head to head. Another thing that was cool was that we got to see Alderaan.

Break for pedantry: the Emperor was not a Jedi.

Yes it was satifying, in some sick twisted way.
